PS Beks, I asked you to explain why you think Clarence Thomas is a traitor. Your post does not explain that position.
Thomas agreed that the recounts should stop, but did not sign off on the argument you post. He wrote his own opinion outlining the Constitutionalist position I stated above. His proposed resolution was to kick it back to the Florida legislature as the only institution with the consitutuonal authority to resolve it.
I'm trying to find his actual opinion, but about twelve billion things show up when you google Bush v Gore, most of them rants/raves about the outcome.

I think Clarence Thomas is a creepy, weird guy.
How can a justice sit through an entire year of cases and never speak, never ask a question ??? These are not exact numbers but in the last term, Ginsberg asked like 1,000 questions, Kennedy 700 questions, etc, etc, etc.
Thomas just sits there year after year and never speaks.
Weird.

But just Google "Clarence Thomas doesn't ask questions" or something similar and you will see that he will go years without saying a word.
I don't understand how a real judge can do that.

He doesn't ask questions because he believes that lawyers operating at that level should be able to present their case without having to explain it. So he sits back and lets them say what they have to say. Besides all the real arguments are contained in the filings, not the oral arguments. Sp he looks at the case as presented and makes a decision.
