What, like when a girl ties me down and tickles me before sex?

No no no, that's sexual compression.

OMG what is a purity ball!?!?!?!

Mine are pure balls, the standard by which all others are judged, so, in a sense, purity balls.

And Josie (may I call you that?)...the whole purity/promise ring idea is super creepy. I have a 10 year old and he has his first girlfriend and was telling me he thinks he might want to kiss her on the cheek. I told him he needs to ask her, not just decide to do it.

I know the child just started her period because her mother announced it to me and the child announced it to a whole park a couple of weeks ago .

The last thing I ever wanted to do when my 'special friend' finally arrived as a teen was to announce it to the whole world. Sheesh!

Not having sex doesn't make you pure.

Having sex doesn't make you impure.

Confusing the two is the product of a disabled mind captive to religious ethos.

    Sex is life.

The craving for sex is the quest for life.

The conflict begins when the context of life is confused by superstition and taboo thinking.

Filling your life with a purpose that is meaningful isn't the same as living a life full of Don'ts.

What we DO must be worth doing.

Kids aren't given a culture that works. They confuse celebrity with meaning. Celebrity isn't talent so much as exhibitionism.

Exhibitionism celebrates sexuality because sexuality doesn't require INTELLECT or information.

To be relevent to a peer group the purpose of life becomes being noticed (i.e. for one's sexuality.)

In Evangelical circles the focus of purpose is on being a reverse celebrity (notice me for what I DON'T do.)

It is all exhibitionism and lacks meaningful purpose.

Women are born with ovaries because becoming a mother is identical with being fertile as a female and being impregnated by a male.

Being indiscriminate as a male is fertilizing as many females as possible.

Superimpose a rational control over that primal drive to be sexually fecund and top it off with the cherry of RELIGIOUS SUPERSTITION and you get

    nonsensical social pressures.

Purity cannot exist in any society in a meaningful way unless a personal PHILOSOPHY of life is present.

What do I know and how do I know it?

What is a Good life well-lived and how is it acheived?

How is the responsible use of my body an investment in my future (and the future of society)?

Basic questions only philosophy can answer.

Without it---exhibitionism will inhabit two extremes of conduct: false purity and false corruption.

I am secure enough in my ball purity to leave the balls-less avatar there.

Well what can you do other than let your friends know that they are goddamn idiots who should have never had children?
