I've had a couple of birthdays Vamps.
My 21st was a right royal pissup with some very good friends. I got my first ever birthday present, a packet of Rothmans.
We had an absolute ball. Adventures that I am not about to post here.
My next biggie was my 50th. A quiet night compared to my mates 50th, when I broke a rib play fighting with him and we fell into his kid's paddling pool.

I could care less too!!! But I do see an need for out of the ordinary days. Days of celebration. I like to mark the seasons with season appropriate celebrations. apple pie in fall, canning salsa in late summer, still do turkey day. a ride on the blue ridge parkway when the leaves turn. This is my holidays.
