That's fine, you say you is, who am I to say otherwise. But you are not a JW by the definition of the religious organization, Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, Inc. or Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, Inc.

The more I think of it, the more I see that these threads don't really stroke his ego. It must be hard for him to feel wrong so often. So to deal with it he puts on fake confidence and sarcasm. Then when he REALLY feels he is wrong, he resorts to insults.

I think I understand MadJW. I'm not saying his way is right or justified. He is searching, like all of us are or did. He sees the bad things in the governing body and acknowledges that. He's looking for validation that there is one true religion out there that is not directed by a group of men. He hasn't found it. He's frustrated and lashes out. I understand that. I just wish he would change his tactics a bit so that he can really open up and see that he has the truth already, apart from the JWs. It's hard for me to see the real MadJW through the anger? frustration? I catch a glimpse of it now and then though.

CLOSE, MB- but I'm neither lashing out, nor looking: if there IS a Faith other than ours that has the Truth- it will come to ME, since I'm out there talking to people door to door.

Frustrated- YES: it's sickening to see such self-glorification in the 'FDS'- but Christ said such are receiving their reward...in FULL. I HOPE it doesn't apply to them!
