PSacramento If someone heard a voice that tells them to love all, to share love with all, to guide people to love, when did that become a bad thing?

The way that you and Tammy present love and Christ together it is a good thing. Unfortunately there are many branches of Christianity that show a different side. Nevertheless your need to love and be loved has changed my perspective of the Christian message.

You have made it clear that to be Christ-like is to show love and undeserved kindness. I have concluded that to believe in Christ and show these qualities is better than not believing in anything and becoming bitter.

CS lewis once said ( I think it was him) that Christianity is a hospital for sick people ( sinners) not a museum for saints.

When we see love and humility we see the beginnings of Christ in us, when we see arrogance and intolerance and hate, we see the absence of Christ.

We are all broken without Christ, he truly completes Us, in ALL his forms.

While I would never use the term "underserved kindness" since we ALL deserve kindness, I know what you mean :)

I returned On Sunday from a week trekking in the Welsh mountains. Went in a few Welsh churches kept going by the contributions of the villagers. I'm not saying I believe but I have come to understand.

I can, dear PSacto (again, peace to you!), as I stated because, again, it wasn't against ME, so... And dear AK-Jeff later explained his... "chagrin" with me: his feeling that I had repeatedly ignored him. Unfortunately, because of all of the "words" (and while I apologize that I AM so verbose, I also offer that I am... verbose. I totally admit it. But I am not unkind, untruthful, deceitful, arrogant... or crazy - LOLOL!)... a good many who have chosen to read SOME of what was discussed/written... and comment... apparently didn't read ALL of what was discussed/written... and so have jumped to some pretty erroneous conclusions... at least with regard to this thread (other threads, too, but since they weren't/shouldn't have been the subject of this thread, I won't bring them into it).

I do know and agree, as you stated to another above, that one's beliefs will bring one in line for attack. I do not deny that... nor reject it. Nor do I complain about it. I simply ask those who cover their ears and groan... why they do not cover their eyes, as well... and just not LOOK... while they're trying not to HEAR. Now, if they WANT to look... and see what I post... then, by all means, they should feel totally free to do so. But to tell me to stop posting... well, seriously... c'mon, now.

Dearest, dear Glad... peace to you and GOOD for you! It doesn't matter to me, dear one, whose "example" moves you to consider Christ. So long as you ARE so moved... to even consider... let all praise be to JAH! Perhaps you are one who relates better to, say, arms... than to feet... and I am a foot. Doesn't matter: all stand in the Body as placed by God, not by we ourselves. So, thank you... for the joy you have brought to dear tec and PSacto, if for nothing else. Because when ONE member of the Body rejoices... the ENTIRE BODY rejoices!

The church(s) do so much good and never get the press and that is ok, because doing good for "goodness sake" is the point of Christianity and the works that flow from it.

Yes, many men have given Christianity a black eye and many more will continue to do so, that is the nature of Man and the nature of a religion that is based on love and NOT judgment, based on helping and not hurting, based on acepting and not shunning.

In an ideal world...well...why bother to go one, it is not and never has been an ideal world.

We try the best we can, sometimes we succeed and sometimes we fail, miserably and since Christianity comes from US, it to will sometimes succeed and other times fail.

I have a good friend of mine, we served together and while I was a sniper, he was a medic, a far more important role than mine.

He is part of Doctors without borders and he is a decent man, he is a christian and truly is an exmapel of Christianity, but you know what?

Along side him are an atheist and a hindi doctor too, all are decent men, all save lives and all work together for "goodness sake".

Jeff, I went back and read the original opening post, where you sneezed out that name. "Gesundheit" by the way. I don't want to misunderstand you. I think you are being satirical like the following video. I don't know what to believe anymore. It seems that everyone in religion is misleading everyone else.

I don't know what to believe anymore.

The word of my Lord is that you do know... now... but you just cannot bring yourself to look in the mirror and admit that you were wrong one more time. It's too much for your... well, you know what it's too much for.

But I will tell you, truthfully, it only takes one more time. And so long as one still has a breath in one's fleshly body... there is time.

OMG, I have had divine communication.

JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH spoke to me. He said AGuest was instructed not to communicate with me anymore, nor to examine/dissect anything I type here on JWN. He said that since she violated that command, He will cease to communicate with her anymore, and "Anything she says is just made up shit of her own." (He actually used that quote.)

Further, He said "The name pronounciation stuff is pure bullshit."
