Unbelief, therefore, involves a turning of the heart away from God to search for satisfaction from something or someone else. Rarely is unbelief solely or mainly a matter of changing one’s mind about facts. It is a turning of heart away from the Creator and Redeemer.
This is absolutely not true in any sense.
Unbelief is not a conclusion.
Think of a science experiment:
This experiment is extensitve and the scientist involved feels he has exhausted all possible tests and can be intellectually honest with himself when he refers to the experiment as inconclusive.
This does not mean that the hypothesis should be scratched. It should be sheleved until the scientist either thinks of a new test he missed or entirely new information comes to light.
It is arrogant and presumptuous to tell someone else that their experiment FAILED when it was merely inconclusive.
