THAT life is the REAL life. THIS life is nothing; no hope, no joy, only servitude and death. BUT if you serve well, then 'jam tomorrow.' Only tomorrow never comes.
More connected to 2012, not the Christian JW junk. Post 9/11 was the same thing. On the heals of every major event in history, since their begining, is someone saying, 'the end is closer.' Not just Witnesses though, lots of people thinking the end is near.

I've been hearing it as well! It's so bad, the end is so close! A JW co-worker started in on me today. So, I just said, "that's why we have to make sure we are in the right place"...I just got a blank stare.
