with all the radition coming out of Japan and already all over the northern hemisphere and radion already in the milk, spinch, lettuce etc., why havent the WTS warned the congogreations on how to protect them selves from the radiation, i'm still waiting for a watchtower mag to cover the story.......

My wife is now concerned that we need an emergency kit for the upcoming disasters. This is based on the letter that the elders circulated in her cong a couple of weeks ago on what to do in case of an emergency.

I wonder what sort of conniptious fits they'd go through if we saw a MAJOR volcanic eruption - not the little 'firecrackers' that have gone off, so far... Or a direct hit by a large meteorite...
Or how they'll respond - eventually - to the global changes that will take place if global warming really takes hold...
I've always suspected that the extinction of the human race won't result from some cataclysmic event; it will be the end result of a series of small errors, miscalculations and wrong decisions made by humans themselves...

ZIDDINA- I know what you mean. If ANYTHING happens that is a bit extreme, wars, eatrhquakes, tsunamis, etc. etc. the Witnesses go into freak mode and start doing the robot thing from the show " Lost in Space " waving their arms around saying " Warning Will Robinson, Warning Will Robinson ! " It's ridiculous. When my JW parents in their 80's start saying stuff to me like " you know what THAT means " ( indicating it's a sign close to the end ) I just reply to them " Mom & Dad lots of evil wars took place in the 1800's, the inquisition, and earthquakes over the centuries too ! '" then they usually stop with the rhetoric to me. It's annoying for sure

Because it takes around a year to prepare the spiritual feast found in the WT. So expect to see a 'timely' article on earthquakes and nuclear power next Spring.
