Anyone that didn't go... you didn't miss much the same talk and everything... I missed last year I think and when I went this year I swear I could have quoted the talk word for word!

As posted earlier, I went. But never, ever, never again.

I didn't go and neither did my sister Grandajones. I stay home and watched Desparate Housewives. Delish! I am so happy I dont have to sit through the most boring over hyped meeting the dubs have.

I did not go. I don't have the time. I don't understand going. Besides, it's on the wrong day and they don't do what Jesus instructed them to do. I don't get it.

My Father went, however. Thanks to the JWs stopping by to invite him to this thing, he went wandering for 2 hours the next day to try and find the post office so he could take the bus back home to get some money out of the bank so he could take a girl to the movies. Sucks to have dementia. Our local Liberal party candidate saw him, picked him up, and brought him home.

I haven't been since 1994, and it seems to be exactly the same(from what i'm reading here), with half the format dedicated to telling the masses not to participate in the wine and bread. I've seen them screw up funerals in the same fashion, filling what could be a decent moment with a bunch of rules and crap that they have made up. If I had good reason to go, I'd go, but it is so boring and silly I would not go for any sort of spiritual reason, they would have to be giving out $1000 bills or hold it at a resort in Grand Cayman-at their expense of course...

    happy easter

Didn't go, and it was surprisingly easy to miss my first memorial. But for the last few years I began to feel it was pointless to be there as an observer--observing the same thing year after year.
