What TotallyADD said about it taking a lot of hard work for a marriage to last. Sometimes I think it was sheer endurance on our parts that kept us together for the last 37 years. I would often quote Matt 24:13 about enduring to the end to be saved. Well enduring to the end has saved our marriage!! LOL Seriously we have learned to compliment as well as complement each other. Telling each other what we like oils our relationship much more so than harping on what we don't like.

Taking the cult our of our marriage has allowed each of us to express our true personality.

May your marriage grow stronger and your love for each other grow deeper.

I am happy for you. Paul McCartney's We Can Work It OUt is playing in my mind. LIfe is very short. ....we can work it out. (Paul did not work it out with Jane Asher but the specifics don't matter. The song is adaptable).

You announced it in a very gracious way. Seperate spaces for people should be mandatory. Everyone needs their own emotinal and physical place.
