As a Rob Zombie fan, I like House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects. Very twisted movies.

The original Halloween, and The Shining are my all-time faves.

There haven't been too many good horror movies in recent years. The Ring creeped me out a little. The Strangers was pretty intense, too.

I won't watch any of those movies. They scare me.

What I will watch are programs like Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, etc.

Those shows don't scare me. Go figure.

Well, you got me to comment. That kind of scares me to...............uhhhhhh, two.................uhhhhhhh, also.

I find Ghost Hunters more amusing than anything. They never actually capture anything on camera, yet there's always something eerie and supernatural going on.

Count Dracula wiith Louis Jordan, his crawling up the side of the Castle scene is really convincing.

AGuest, which "original" of the Thing (from another world)? The 1951 version? Haven't seen anyhing but clips friom that one. That's another film like Invasion of the Body Snatchers that's been re-made at least twice.

I meant the 1982 version with Kurt Russell, dear Jws (peace to you!). I thought the earlier one was titled, "The Thing [From Another World]"... and so didn't know it was the origical (apparently, the '82 version was a remake).

    Peace!

    SA, on her own...
