Beks, I remember that game well. I became a huge fan of Montana and the Niners after that, in part because I despised the Cowboys so much, and that was the play that finally knocked them off their pedastal.
Incidentally, if you ever feel like beating your head against a wall, try convincing a Cowboys fan that Montana wasn't just trying to throw the ball away.

I'm re-thinking my prediction for the final score in tomorrows S.F. - New York game. It may be San Francisco 21 New York 14 . I may have overshot it by a touchdown per team. Reason is that a trong Pacific rain storm is coming in and that may hinder the game from getting into the high 20's or even 30's scoring wise. If it stays dry it may be 28 to 21 S.F. - but if the field is very wet I go with the 2nd score
Lots of upsets (Saints and Packers gone??? C'MON) so far, but Brady looks nigh unstoppable. 40 minutes to kick-off and it's going to be 2 great games today.
As much as I like the NHL, the NFL playoffs are pretty great too. It's ONE game, FOUR quarters and that's IT. No 2nd chances, no 7 game series, and usually 80,000 people watching. It's really a Romans carnival all over again :)
Giants are hot at the right time. I'm picking them to win it all. That's all it takes... getting hot at the right time.
Here it is, game day. I'm not changing my mind about the NY over SF: 21-10. Weather will affect the game and I think in NY's favour. Defense will rule the day. Have a great game day everyone.
