I think ex-pats can apply too. You can tick to say you are a British citizen, but fill in an address abroad.
Give it a go and see what happens!

Remember folks... you can sign the petition even if you're a fader, because no names are revealed apart from cantleave's - who's name the petition is in! Therefore we can all add our names to this without fear of reprisals.
PLEASE think about what I said in the OP about writing to politicians, or your local newspapers. This is what will REALLY get the signatures coming in, once the outside world learns about this petition.
Finally, I would be truly intrigued to hear experiences from anyone who downloads the fliers and sneaks them through letterboxes on the ministry. If we get enough people doing that, then again, it should make a real impact!
