Thanks finallysomepride - well that's what you get for going it alone!! Haha, kidding.
Isn't there some similar process that you can go through in your country with online petitions etc? I think it's a great idea. Every country should do it. The whole concept is that local people feel more involved in government by potentially setting the agenda for debates in parliament. It's simple, but brilliant.

Fantastic! That's 40 fliers (4 per page)!! Well done!
I'm really anxious to know what becomes of those fliers. I admit that I would take an almost sadistic pleasure from knowing they are being distributed in the ministry - but so long as they are distributed across Britain I don't greatly care HOW they are distributed, or whether it is by active Witnesses or not. We just need to spread the word.

Phew! Ive just had a really good morning on the "ministry". I started posting the flyers down a local street when I noticed several pairs of sisters standing on doorsteps nearby. LOL! It was great to follow them down the street posting the flyer in houses they'd just been to. Especially sweet was when they'd had a conversation with the householder. I hung back until they'd finished then posted a flyer in the door. Looks like their return visit could be interesting!
I recognised 2 of the sisters but I dont think they knew me. In the 4 years since I left, I've changed quite a bit (lost 5 stone) so it was very satisfying to do this.
I also made a point of targeting homes with "no religious caller" signs. I figured they're more likely to sign a petition. Then I put one up on our local community noticeboard under the "Give Blood"posters. Sweet!
