4/15 WT- WTS Doesn't Care about your Happiness- Just JW's Obedience

  Hello again ! Been off the board for about 6 days or so battling a nasty bout of Vertigo that hit me early this week. Doing better at about 85 % now. At least my heads not spinning so I can think straight now to type a thread. Hope everybody is doing good . I've missed you all.

  In this article titled, " Maintain a Complete Heart Towards Jehovah " ( which should be called ' Maintain a Complete Heart Towards the WT society ) - WT society uses a lame illustration of a field laborer desiring family - yet MISSAPPLIES this to JW's desiring " things of Satan's world".

  On page 15 it states, " A field laborer is busy plowing. While plowing, though, he cannot stop thinking about his home where there are family, friends, food, music, laughter, and shade . He longs for them. After plowing a good stretch of land, the laborer's desire for those pleasant things in life becomes so overwhelming that he turns around to look at " the things behind ". Though there is still much work to be done before the field is planted, the laborer is distracted and his work suffers. Of course, the laborer's master is dissappointed by the worker's lack of perseverance. "

  It continues in paragraph 12, " The farmer could represent any Christian who seems to be doing well but actually is in spiritual danger. For comparison's sake , let us imagine a brother who keeps busy in the ministry. However, though attending meetings and sharing in field service, he cannot stop thinking of certain aspects of the WORLD"S WAY OF LIFE that he finds appealing. Deep down in his heart , he longs for them. Eventually, after he carries out his ministry for several years, his desire for some THINGS OF THIS WORLD becomes so overwhelming that he turns back and looks at " the things behind ". Jehovah, " the Master of the harvest ", is saddened by any such lack of endurance. "

  Then it concludes in paragraph 13, " The lesson is obvious. If deep down in his heart a Christian continues to love " the things behind " - that is, CERTAIN ASPECTS OF THE WORLD'S WAY OF LIFE - he is in DANGER of losing his GOOD STANDING with God. Only if we truly " abhor what is wicked and cling to what is good " will we be " well fitted for the Kingdom of God " . All of us need to make sure that NOTHING in Satan's world, NO MATTER HOW USEFUL OR PLEASANT IT MAY SEEM TO BE, holds us back from being wholehearted in caring for Kingdom interests. "

  Translation of what the WT society REALLY means ? This : Desiring your family, home, friends, food, music, laughter, and shade are REALLY tools of Satan he uses to keep you in a wicked unapproved state ! Desiring those things are " things of the world " which you must NOT long for or you will lose your good standing with God ! You must put field service above relationships, home, family, children, food , laughter and ANY PERCEIVED pleasant things you enjoy that you may THINK you need.

  If you are a lurking Jehovah's Witness I hope you are getting my drift here. The WT society is twisting this illustration in order to control your view of normal family relations to make it look EVIL if you enjoy your family, laughter, home, friends, food, music, or shade. If you put those things ahead of field service, meetings, or ANY WT society directions - according to this WT article you are condemned to be dissapproved by God and are pursuing " things of the world " which the WT society dissapproves of, not God. Think about it - do you really think a loving God would tell you to minimize the value of your home, your family, friends, food, music, laughter, and shade ???

  This is nothing but a master manipulation of rank & file Jehovah's Witness minds in order to gain control over them and to promote family disunity so JW's will ONLY show allegiance to the WT society to the destruction of their families , homes, friends, and happiness, and life ! Please think about this. If you are one still INSIDE please think about the lack of freedom you truly have. Would a loving God ask you to REJECT your own family ? No. But a mind manipulating , unethical organization who wants to use you for their own financial purposes WOULD !

  As always I look forward to your opinions, takes, comments on this article . It nauseated me just writing it. I think my head is spinning again. ( Just joking . ) Take care and I look forward to your ideas on this manipulative information. Peace out to all, Mr. Flipper

  The Watchtower doesn't like the past and wants their followers to forget it. That's why they have their farm laborer getting in trouble for being distracted. They are describing the process of slave driving. There is a big difference between an employer and a slave driver. An employer is someone who recognizes the need of the employee and the employee is free to leave. A slave driver cares not for the value of the person nor their freedom, but rather what the person can do for them.

  I used to work for a new age slave driver, I'll call him Randy. Randy put up a help wanted sign for his company and I applied. Randy hired me on the spot because I had many skills that he could immediately put to use. Quickly, he set me up in front of his door to answer the phone for people who needed his company's services and to do consulting with walk ins then do the work I sell. Early in the process I sold $10,000 worth of company product in one month. Randy was very happy with how things were turning out.

  However soon after I sold about half as much in a month. He had me doing sales and the work, a one man wrecking crew that was starting to fatigue me. He sat down with me one day and told me that I had to get my sales up because of the $10k month I had previously made. The fact is, that the only reason why I sold that much was because there was a surge of walk ins and phone calls and I handled them well (I think I had 100% sales ratio that month). Sometimes Randy's advertising works and sometimes it doesn't. I need people to sell to and they just weren't coming in as much. I explained to him that the amount of sales is directly cotinigent on not only the quantity of the new clients, but the caliber of the projects they needed which were all random elements. I also told him that I already had a lot of work to do because of the initial surge. Randy seemed to understand, but there were dollar signs in his eyes that seemed permanent. He had a lot of faith in me and knew that I could break my previous record. Randy really liked going out to dinner with clients and trying to schmooze them. One day I overheard his wife scolding him for spending $700 on a single dinner the previous night.

  Randy was not an employer, he was a psudo-slave-driver. He had no care for me as a person, even though he would have swore he did, and he milked me dry. I eventually had a breakdown and had to leave the whole industry for a while.

  The Watchtower, along with Randy, is much like Mr Krabs in the American show Spongebob Squrepants. Krabs owns a hamburger outfit and in one episode he finds out that the local jellyfish jelly makes for a great burger. He then asks Spongebob, who has a strict catch and release for fun policy, to go collect him jellyfish. Secretly Krabs creates a contraption that extracts the jelly en masse from the captured sea creatures. Spongebob eventually finds out and puts a stop to it. The Watchtower exposes themselves as slave drivers of the worst kind by using that lame illustration about the laborer.

  The Watchtower are evolved slave owners that actually don't care what color your skin is

  Hi Flipper,glad you're starting to feel better. What is causing your vertigo?

  I agree that the Watchtower,doesn't care if Witnesses are happy or not. We have to wait until the "real life" anyway.

  An elder gave a talk one Sunday about obedience. And he stressed the point of how we may have to suffer,it can be hard,but basically,obedience is all important.

  I guess,that's why most Witnesses I know are on anti-depressants.

  LOL, thinking about shade on a hot day in the sun means you're lazy!

  My jw mother used to read me scriptures about laziness when I didn't want to get up for Sunday meetings when sleep-deprived and severely anemic due to untreated bleeds. Jesus said to push yourself, after all! (Or did he?)

  I can't imagine any half-normal person thinking this sentiment is less than sick.

  BALTAR 447- I think you're right- the WT society truly IS ramping up the crazy because they are desperate to control members from leaving. I feel the WTS knows they're up against it with the Internet so they use more desperately insane illustrations in order to exert their supposed " authority " over rank & file JW's.

  OUTLAW- Exactly. Very true. To the WT society all they care about is obedience to them by their members. Members are told not to trust themselves.

  SABASTIOUS- I'm very sorry that " Randy " took advantage of you my friend. There are many slave drivers out there in the world who view us as an expendable slave and expect total results without budging an inch themselves. And you are correct, I agree- the WT society is just such a business as well. JW's don't matter individually to them , they are just cogs in the wheel to promote WT society interests. So rank & file JW's are being used just like many of us get used by our employers at times. As you so well described.

  You also make a very good point about the WT society wanting to keep JW's busy so they don't research into the WT society's past. I totally agree. WT society would like to keep all of thir inaccurate skeletons in the closet ( including 1975 ) to newer JW's so they can't see the inaccuracies or be aware of the failed predictions. Also WT society likes keeping members in the dark about scandals whether of the child abuse nature or blood transfusion or Malawi nature. WT leaders desire Witnesses to view them a infallible or perfect actually. Good points Sab. WT just wants to use people as slaves. So true

  EMPTYINSIDE- Thanks. I think I had some really inflamed sinus problems which may have backed up the calcium crystals in my inner ear to stop the cilia from sending nerve ending messages to my eyes and motor reflexes to tell my body to move in sync with my eyes. That's what happens in Vertigo and then it causes dizziness and nausea. Just have to wait it out and take motion sickness medicine daily. Taking Meclizine Hydrochloride pills the last week. It's helping gradually. Good point you make about the WT society not caring if Witnesses are happy in the here and now. They ALWAYS hold it out as a carrot in front of JW's to be happy in the pretend " paradise " in the future. So since tHAT never comes- JW's will NEVER be happy ! Probably true what you say about many JW's being on anti-depressants. It's like, how else can they cope ? I agree.

  REBEL 8 - Isn't it weird the illustrations WTS uses ? THinking about shade means someone is lazy ? I mean, it's really ridiculous
