WING COMMANDER- Our minds must work alike. I was thinking the same thing you were when I read the illustration and how the WT society tried to apply it ( really missapply it ) . I thought to myself " this is total insanity " . You're right- it is totally mind controlled $hit ( only accurate definition ) . Also- My wife has been saying for a long time now like yourself that there indeed MAY be a mole in the Bethel writing committee who is on purpose making these articles at the WT study's more insane. It's either that , or the GB is just getting more desperate using more desperate language. Or maybe it's acombination of the two ? Anything's possible.
BOBLD- Thanks, I appreciate it. I agree the WT society certainly lacks a really true insight into authentic humanity or what's real as opposed to what's NOT real. I agree with you- most men who are worth their salt are PROUD to provide for their family and it's what motivates them to work as hard as they do ! At least it's how I feel in working for my family's behalf. For the WT society to put down even thinking of your family while working is beyond crazy - it's assanine and criminal. In this WT article you can certainly see their agenda ! Tear families apart !
LEECA- Welcome to the board ! I see you have just newly joined ! Glad you are here ! Good point you make. The WT society NEVER points the finger at their leaders for joining the U.N. and becoming part of the world - yet they will point accusatory fingers all day long at rank & file JW's who just want a happy life with their family. Such hypocrites it makes me sick.
WASBLIND- Thanks, I appreciate the kindness. Your analogy of what the slaves experienced is right on compared with how the Witnesses are being controlled. I mean - if you think of it JW's are being killed and abused constantly by the WT society with no blood transfusions, child abuse, the Malawi incident, I could go on and on but you see the point. And their lives are totally stolen away from them - and they don't even realize it ! And the quotes you provided by Losch and the Kingdom ministry prove that all the WT society leaders are concerned about is production and numbers by JW's. They really do not care about people's individual needs at all. Just cogs in the machine.
ZORDINO- Welcome to the board as well ! I see you just joined also. Good to have you here ! It's exactly as you say. WT society DEMANDS Witnesses to obey these days. They feel they are God's chosen ones and that's it ! So it's obey or else to rank & file JW's ! Really disgusting the control and power the WT society wields over these 7 million JW's.
NUGGET- Very good point you make which I noticed also - that the WT society is amping up driving a wedge between family members and telling JW's that their family devotion amounts to nothing ! And that THEY are nothing but slaves themselves. WT society's motives are to divide and conquer any family loyalties JW's have so they'll have total control of their lives. WTS leaders are such pigs and scoundrels it defies description.
BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS- Thanks for your kindness. I'm glad your wife is seeing how crazy these articles are becoming . I hope more and more JW's follow suit. I think it is mainly about power and control for the WT society leaders to do this. AND the $$$$$$ factor. Business is business to them.
NANCY DREW- Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad things worked out for you and hubby with the vertigo. It is very ironic like you say that the WT society would put pictures of shiny , happy families sitting there in a future paradise - yet at the same time deride and put down current JW's for wanting that NOW with their families. Very good point. It shows the WT society has evil ulterior motives .
WT WIZARD- Exactly, it is going to lower the benefit even more of being a JW. They are already beaten down and overlaoded, now they are being told to NOT think of their families or good times with friends in their homes with laughter ? How morose can the WT society get for Christ's sakes ? I hope lots of Witnesses see this for what it is - control- but I'm not holding my breath.
ZIDDINA- Good analogy on your part. The WT society IS a cruel master making it's victims, er Witnesses , labor in the sun and they don't even get to think about family while they're doing it ! WT society dominates, tortures psychologically it's members until they are so beaten down - they have no energy to fight back. I believe that's the WT society's goals with these people ! That, more than anything else, shows how insane the Governing Body is becoming. They are SO insulated in their little fantasy world that they are incapable of seeing how antiquated and INEFFICIENT their old "preaching" methods are - standing on street corners?? Going door-to-door? I don't think that even the Fuller Brush man goes "door-to-door" anymore...!!

ZIDDINA- I agree for sure ! WT society leaders & the GB are becoming increasingly more insane. This newer GB 2.0 they call them ( some on the board here use that term for the current 7 GB men aged mid 50's to early 70's in age ) I believe are trying to consolidate their power & control and make a name for themselves no matter WHAT the methods are ! Insane or not. Another board member I talked to ( a close friend ) stated he thought that's one reason that none of the dying older GB members have been replaced. In times past I remember when I was an active JW if a GB member died, not a lot of grass grew before they had a replacement to make the number at 12 GB members. But this newer breed of GB 2.0 is different. I think they are even MORE paranoid than the first bunch of GB wackjobs ! Including Jaracz . Fuller brush going out of business ?
