But, to your comment wondering if all the smart kids here have a pope: it's tough to say, but I'll put my education, university, GRE scores, income, job status, and neighborhood up against the distribution on this board any day. In fact, I'll take the Catholics here as a group against the board distribution.

How can anybody expect to get away with claiming that christianity is not a religion?
Of course its possible to redefine any word to suit your own purpose but not if you expect to have meaningful conversations with others.
There was a time I would have told you with a straight face that JWs base all their beliefs on the bible. Then there was a decade when I would have insisted I did no longer had a religion I had a "personal relationship with Jesus".
These claims are equally mistaken.
