  I'm guessing you are still sticking with that illustrations. You remind me of how JW are with no one can have a different view. Sure you're not still blind?

  I would question how much good you are doing yourself or anyone else. It's great to plant seds of doubt, but if you can't water and cultivate them (which would expose your apostasy) those seeds will not grow. In the mean time you are going along with a lie and contributing in many ways to the organization you claim to hate.

  In the mean time you are living a life that is not in keeping with your values. You are used to it and think it all doesn't affect you, but trust me, you are paying a price, a fact which will be brought home to you once you really leave and see what you were missing. I know because I stayed far too long, I wasted years, the best years of my life really. I am much happier and living a great life now, but it makes me a little sad to think what my life could have been.

  It's your life, you obviously will chart your own path, actually I admire your independent spirit, but I wanted to give you something to think upon.

  I couldnt pull of what the OP is suggesting but Im not any good at playing poker either!

  I dont think its worthy of judging negatively.

  Its a big wide world and there are lots of ways to make things work.

  The worst "hypocrites" are those who believe they are NOT "hypocrites." These people are just like Genie from "Ferris Bueller." She bitched and moaned about how Ferris got away with everything and she didn't.

  Charlie Sheen's character said, "....the problem is YOU."

  The self-righteous A-holes of the world can wear their mental/emotional "hair shirt" and be "holy" for all I care. I'll watch some porn once in a while, go to gay-bars, smoke a cigar and play violent video games. I'll also "go downtown" and be guilt free.

  I think this is the same kind of thrill that some get from stealing and getting away with it. It's the thrill of secretly cheating and getting away with it. Some people steal, cheat on their taxes and commit other criminal cheating acts, not for the material advantage it gives them, but just for the thrill of being able to cheat and get away with it.

  If it works for you as an awake JW in helping you keep your sanity, then by all means embrace it. It's one of several coping mechanisms that awake JWs who are trapped can use.

  But you're not a true hypocrite. You're just deceitful - justifiably deceitful. A true hypocrite is never honest with himself in acknowledging that he's being a hypocrite. A true hypocrite is blinded by pride and/or self-righteousness from seeing his double-standards.

  Well, I was impelled to listen Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, and to go to a Pub to drink some beer after the saturday meetings. I wondered why I was impelled to do so after receiving spiritual food from the Unfaithful and Indiscreet Slave. However, now I understand why, this was because my inner soul knew that I was being deceived by paranoic leaders, through their literature. Now I am free to listen the music I want, without fear of Yahweh and his organization.

  By the way, there's also another kind of JW - the triple-lifer. Believe me, they exist! An example of a triple-lifer would be a JW who is gay but living in a strongly homophobic society and so has to live his gay life secretly from everyone who is not gay . . . in addition to also living a secret, non-gay worldly life outside the kingdom hall. Three lives: gay, general worldly and JW. And that can even be 4 lives if he's a closet atheist who only lives out his atheism anonymously online.
