elephant - I know what the high level masons believe or the highest level. I'm not saying it because it will only confuse everyone and within their reasoning are also strong counter reasons in the scriptures as well. Unsure if they know about those or not. But it's a very tricky thing to figure out. Somebody who learns it from being taught it or told it would probably believe it vs one who even learned of the possibility on their own reading of the scriptures and able to see both sides. If anybody has joined them or knows what I am talking about, just know this, within all those scriptures and the bible, there are scriptures that also speak opposite of what you believe. So the big pandora's box then becomes, which is right and which is wrong.

Of course you can. Just because you don't have the math and science to show that gravity is cause by matter warping spacetime doesn't mean you can't figure what the rate of acceleration of gravity is.

This only works when studying nonintelligent forces. Science falls dead flat when attempting to study intelligent forces such as "Ghosts", "Angels" and "Devils" and therefore wrongly concludes that they are non intelligent, or a fabrication of human intelligence. There are sciences that study these phenomenon but they are not recognized by "Science" which cannot even detect their existence, which exposes Science's limitations while at the same time strengthening the credence of the Spritual.

Christ Alolne....I agree with you. I also used to think there was a masonic connection, but as you say, you did a little deeper and it doesn't all fit. So it's inconclusive.

Some of the evidence, the societies own, shows that they had that belief in pyramidology etc...there is no denying that. But as for the rest, we see what we want to see sometimes don't we. We humans have a habbit of connecting the dots and coming up with something not even close to the fact of the matter.

Frankly, the connections to the pyramids should be enough to turn witnessess off. I mean, if Russell was being led by God, what was he doing playing with pyramids anyway? Surely this 'spirit lead' organisation would have known better.

Oh and BTW, I agree with elephant. You have presented your points very well on this thread...

Them being tied to masonry isn't needed to invalidate everything anyway. A few simple things that haven't been given much attention to are what is going to do it. :)

    ...a very good question...

...have you ever contemplated the ouroborus symbol?

If you are faced with evil supernatural beings that are SOOOO beyond us, and able to plant "false flags" (eg dinosaur fossils that prove evolution) and distort the findings by engaging in Machiavellian disinformation campaigns, etc. then you TRULY are SCROOOD. You think, YOU, Sab, a mere goofy mortal, are going to be able to do battle with forces who are magnitudes smarter than you, and able to distort your reality? And just think: God LETS them operate!!!

Why do you think the story of David and Goliath was written down? To show that arguments such as this one are full of crap.

Heck, even Jesus said that Satan would appear as an "angel of light" and deceive many: if Jesus wasn't just blowing smoke (telling a tall tale that he may have honestly believed, and passed on), then you truly are SCROOD, since ANY angel you see is possibly Satan. No matter how Holy it appears to be, how would you know?

The answer is in 1 John 4:3.

Point being, the whole scenario is preposterous and non-winnable, why bother? Does it appeal to your personal narcissism, believing that YOU are trapped in a BATTLE for the outcome of the entire Universe, like Luke Skywalker's pivotal role in the Star Wars plot, or Frodo Baggins in LOTR?

Because it's not preposterous and non-winnable, that's just your overtly negative assessment of a situation you don't fully understand.

When I was a child, I used to think as a child: then I grew up and accepted I am not as important as I'd like to think, just one of 7 billion.... You guys need to get over yourselves, as believing in ancient fairy tales without evidence (and much to the contrary) is hardly something worth being falsely humble over, let alone BRAGGING about.

So that's the reason you are on this forum? To "expose" childish behavior? What a petty interest, but whatever floats your boat.

Along with the other links I posted that shows that many Protestants and Catholics use the name "Jehovah", go to youtube and search. The mistranslated and mispronounced name "Jehovah" is not exclusive to JWs or Masons. It would be fruitless to try and set up a link and say that because they both honor the name "Jehovah", they are in kahoots with each other. While the WT preaches that they are the ones that "restored" the name "Jehovah" and they are the true religion because they alone use it and revere it...well that is just untrue. Many cultures and religions revere the name, even though it has been proven to be a lingustic impossibility. Just look below:

I don't think that just because both Masons and the Watchtower use "Jehovah" that means they are in cahoots, however it is one link on a very large list of links. It's truly an oddity that the Watchtower so insists the use of the name Jehovah despite it's scholarly impossibility. Why not use a name that scholars can agree on? Why use scholars at ALL if you are not going to use the right name/title for God? It appears, to me anyway, that there is something specifically significant about the name and what it brings to the table. The fact that Masons also use it is signifcant, but like I said both of these organizations are shrouded in mystery.

elephant - you know what stephen said, the first 'christian' martr. you also know what was told King Neb. You also know what somebody told Jesus. how do you know they are on the right side, it can also be that Jesus and many things quoted in the OT that go against what they think are revealing something. are they blind to that or did they decide all of those instances are the true bad guy?

if all of that is true and not misunderstandings, is the good guy really so out to kill people and the bad guy seemingly loving and such all just a trick?
