perhaps we could also try to nail down the "we" Aguest used to list the 7 definitions of the "household"?

It was stated: those of that House who post in a manner similar to mine. You know, the folks you and some others are "concerned" about (well, afraid of, actually, but it's semantics).

So you're saying it makes it so? Really... curious, that...

You see them as your supporters no?

    Really?

If someone is doing something, and another person sees the benefit in doing that... they have become the first person's disciple? There is no other reason? Can't be because they found benefit in that thing, themselves?

Anyone who learns or does anything that someone else does is a disciple of that person?

So you, then, are disciple of Dawkins. Because you use his atheist scale, over the dictionary definition of atheist.

Or is it because you see truth in something that he shared. You see the benefit in it.

I think you (and others making the same accusations) are drawing false dichotomies. Black or white.

I cannot even believe that this has become something about quoting, and then commenting. I will tell you that i wish people would respond to me in that way. Because so many times, what I have said is ignored... and I wonder "is that because they understood", or "is that because it was a good point, and they don't want to admit that, because they don't want to understand?" I have also found benefit in responding that way myself, because sometimes posts make absolutely no sense to me at all, and I have to break it down to even begin to attempt to respond to it.

(Plus there have been times when I have not responded in that way... and the meat or point has been missed by me; or the topic is sidetracked.)

Tammy - It is my considered opinion that Shelby is gathering a following who hang on her every word - however absurd.

You don't see that. We will have to agree to differ.

Sure, we can agree to disagree. You sidestepped the questions that i asked though. I asked them over on Palm's thread too. Why, if some agree with Q, and compliment his posts... is this is totally cool? But when some agree with a person of faith, then they are followers?

Sorry I must have missed it. Please tell me your question and I will answer it.

tec - I own every word I say, every mistake , every thought and every bit of scrummy awesomness. AG and you don't. You both play a dual role, speaking sometimes authentically sometimes by proxy. AG has posted many times about having a message for an elect group, a special chosen set of people and uses this forum as a free advertising booth for it. I suspect you'd be a bit pee'd if someone decided to use the local park where you walk your dog for a recruitment rally for <select some group> working purely on the assumption that they could use the shared space for their political gain and you should just suck it up and respect it.

I do not understand what you're talking about here, or the point of it.

Quite honestly, Q, i could not care less if someone did that. If I was not interested, I would just pass them by and/or say so. Done.
