Great research James Woods. I got that photo from here at this link,

https://plus.google.com/u/0/104477202728652698005/posts?cfem=1 . Here is a few information from that link,

    SSC Ultimate Aero TT
America’s Shelby Supercars (SSC) is now officially the manufacturer of the ‘World’s Fastest Production Car’ thanks to its Ultimate Aero Twin Turbo supercar. The 1183hp (882kW) speedster set a new top speed record with an average Vmax of 255.83mph (411.76km/h), 3.11mph (5.01km/h) faster than the unofficial record set by the Bugatti Veyron. In order for the achievement to be official under the Guinness World Records’ guidelines, a vehicle testing for the top speed record must race down the course, turn around, and make a second pass in the opposite direction within one hour.

It WAS the fastest (in a straight line) until the title was reclaimed by the Bugatti Veyron.

    268 mph.

It can only do about 8 miles at that speed before it is out of gas and has destroyed its $35,000 tires.

James will like this video! I saw a $500,000 spider crash into a crowd, some rich Italian man with his 25 year old trophy wife destroy the car.

Then I assume that Michelle Obama opposes this bill:

November 15, 2012...California: Hey, have you heard. Today's breaking news:

Per KPCC and KFI (as well as other stations),

Senator Ted Lieu (D-Torrance) plans to introduce a bill to restore the vehicle licensing fee that was slashed under Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger — a change that would triple the cost to car owners. The bill would ask voters to approve the change in 2014.

This may sound like a dumb or invasive question, but (without going into details) does it cost you a fortune to keep your car well maintained? I bet parts are expensive.
