    And for what it is worth, my last American car (no, I do not own one now) was a 1995 Corvette ZR-1. On of the last 50 made of this noble beast.

    This was something I shared with rock star and political activist Ted Nugent - he had three of these And made a big deal about it being "American".

    I wonder if he ever realized that the engine was designed by Lotus in England?

    James, now you see the connection here? You made a political and a social statement of being an "american" by virtue of an american automobile ownership. Similarly,144001 did state his preferance for "American" cars. I think, the connectioin is very interesting. By the way, how did you reconcile your affinity for posh cars with the Watchtower adminition to strive for frugality?

    I did a drive day a couple of weeks ago and this is what ended up happening to the Ferrari. I was in the Aston Martin behind as watched as it happened.
