If you can tell they`ve been refered, cancel the account..

My point is that regardless of how they became members, nobody knows that they are members but them - which is the whole point. So far cantleave has verified this, but I'm just waiting for someone else, just to be sure.

Facebook AAWA Group, I don't think so. But Facebook Fan Page? Yes, without question.

But you can't be "added" to our facebook AAWA page - you can only "like" it. Nobody can "like" it for you.

Further on the names. Juan said there were multiple people from the other JW FB pages (I had been calling them sites...prob not the right term), who were adding people from the groups. Hence, the dilemma of not having one name.

That is a change. I had to cleck "Unlike" as well as "Unfriend" when I removed myself from the page last Sunday.

No, Cedars, I don't hate you! A friend i learned to know here at this site told me you are a really good and nice person, and I trust her. That's why I am dissapointed at your actions in this very sad and tragic case.

You have the opportunity to restore your credability. it's very easy for you. Just take some action. Give us the name of that hi-jacker. And delete that group and restart it! It will be done in less that 10 minutes. Go for it!

I'm quickly learning that you can't use "group" and "page" interchangeably - it needs to be one or the other because there is a world of difference.

Venom and blind hatred is fascinating, but not all that helpful.

Neither is burying your head into sand.

AAWA screwed up dude. You know it screwed up. Juan was willing to give an appology acknowledging that AAWA screwed up. But when people ask "so what are you going to fix it?" suddenly AAWA didn't screw up... and you need evidence that such-and-such things happened.

I know you're frustrated over it - but it's not just going to go away.

If we have a problem then I need to fix it, but I first need to know that the problem currently exists.

The problem is you don't know what the hell you are doing when it comes to facebook. You are blundering around pushing buttons, and screwing people over with your ignorance.

If you wanted to help the people, you would have immediately closed the group after learning that people were forcibly added to protect people.

Now you are using the public to troubleshoot your privacy issues. You've convinced yourself if you can tweek the settings to get the group set up right, you've 'solved the problem'. Even if you do, you haven't solved the problem.

Because the problem is that you don't know what the hell you are doing when it comes to facebook.

It's not about credibility, it's about ensuring that people's privacy is being protected.

I'm trying to establish the facts without allowing emotions to cloud my judgment. One person has already established that the group everyone seems to want taken down is a secret group that is invisible to non-members.

...so says the person who has yet to find me evidence that what I'm postulating about our group is incorrect.

With all these word games going back and forth, it's become obvious that the board at AAWA or AWAA or AWAA OPP SUV learned alot from the GB on honesty and clear and simple answers, and are acting accordingly. I still can't figure out what the point of that corporation is. But a corporation, is a corporation.

Hate me if u want for making the comparison, but I think it makes the argument from the WT that apostates are just trying to make a name for themselves, a valid argument.

    Lets be clear.

There is a Facebook page for AAWA which is an open page youy can like.

In addition there is a secret group, which you can be added to, but your posts can not be seen by anyone unless they too are part of that group.

If you are a member of that group your posts and those of other members will be seen by you on you timeline. They will not be seen by others unless they are part of that group.
