So far, there is no evidence that being a member of our group, even if made a member against your will, shows up on your facebook page to a non-member - which is surely the whole issue.

I belong to a closed group on FB. On the group's FB front page, all the members of that group are on display to non-members including me and my pic. None of the content or discussions is displayed - you have to be a member to view them. But, depending on the group's privacy settings (I'm assuming), it is possible for anybody on FB to see who has joined the group.

    Yes, you're correct. My apologies.

Whom ever "liked" should unlike if they don't want others to know. It shows up on a persons personal activity log and ticker news feeds which everyone can see.

Closed is not the same as secret.

    Thanks wha happened?

With all these word games going back and forth, it's become obvious that the board at AAWA or AWAA or AWAA OPP SUV learned alot from the GB on honesty and clear and simple answers, and are acting accordingly. I still can't figure out what the point of that corporation is. But a corporation, is a corporation.

Less than a fortnight into launching and we've already been accused of being a cult. Being called Governing Body Mark II was almost inevitable.

As regards my question, still no evidence.

But as I said, and as cantleave just reiterated, it's a secret group.

Sadly the majority of people who complain seem to be doing very little in either supporting those exiting or exposing the WTS for the cult it is.

    WHO CARES.

Force-adding hundreds of people is just a hare brained thing to do. Talk about poor judgement.

That's basically like spamming someone, FB style.

And then the lies. That's even worse.

By the way, my understanding is that people who have been added know who added them. FB gives them the name.

Cedars...don't treat us like idiots. The AWAA started a group that allaowed members to add people to the group without being checked by a moderator/administrator. This resulted in that some 1000-1300 names were hi-jacked and outed. Don't dare to hide behind the fact that the group itself is a secret group. It's a fact that people have been outed! So, at least you give the name of the hi-jacker to this forum!

But, and thats more important, if you are the leader of this AAWA-group, we would like to know your name! Since you don't seem to care about other outed people, you can out yourself! Go for it, Cedars.

why wear the apostate badge with your real identity?, all ex-JWs activities are better done with pseudo names, what does it take to register a fake ID on FB and use it to perpetrate the apostate occupation?.

If you had done that, there wouldn't be a problem panicking on identity issues?

We have apologized already for any that were added without their consent.

By the way, my understanding is that people who have been added know who added them. FB gives them the name.

But none of the ones doing the adding were faders, so that point is irrelevant.

The question here is about securing the anonymity of faders, and so far I am struggling to find evidence that such ones, if they are members of our group, are currently in any jeapardy.
