Don't call it biblical, unstopable, because you are ignoring obvious women leaders in both the old testament and the new testament. It's your doctrinal choice. In my generation, "he" and "mankind" referred to both genders, habitually taking the male form for the plural and the neutral. That has changed in my generation. That verse in Timothy might assume male dominance in leadership roles, but I don't see how it excludes women. A woman worthy of respect and the wife of one man, surely is just as qualified for deaconhood?
Besides, God made us just as smart, just as spiritual, just as compassionate, and just as capable of leadership roles.
