EP, you are transparent. There is some merit in Kassad84's observations:

If you show him the verses, it wouldn't matter to him. Why entertain him? Leave the insecure guy alone. He's not comfortable with his beliefs that's why he constantly needs validation by proving others wrong.

On this thread, you didn't prove anything wrong. You did prove that you need to take some tweezers and pick the the WT propaganda out of your thinking. They do not want to pay elders and ministerial servants. They drill it into the brains of elders, MSs and the rank and file, the mistaken notion that Jesus and his apostles didn't eat, sleep, need clothing or medical care. They went walking and preaching for three years and never needed new sandals or corn pads.

The WTBTS are greedy. They don't want to pay elders. They promote the idea that it's wrong for clergy to be compensated. The good news is that we can cast that teaching out, along with all the other false things they promote.

jgnat: your link does not show the women where pastors in the first centry, i think if anyone takes that verse in romans ,and trys to say that is women pastor, they are forcing the bible to say what it is not saying, the three things i mentioned are not biblical abortion, women pastors and "practice of homosexuality, and i know there are many who believe in god who may feel different, but i believe abortion is murder, i believe the practicing of sin is impossible for a truly born again person (1john 3:9)(1john5:18)and i believe pastoral duty are for males only(1 tim3)
