Radiograms ,a combined radio and record player in one , playing vinyl 78 records , early versions you could only play one record at a time ,then presto, advanced technology , you could play 6 on one spindle.
Then came long playing vinyl`s 33.3rd records , sighhhhhhh , such memories ,johnny ray,billie ecksteine,fats dominoe,frankie laine,the swing era.

I was thinking more on the line of Pros.
I had an early 50`s VW with a side-arm indicator between the driver and back passenger seat and every time I took a right hand turn I would have to wind my window down to flick down the indicator as it would always get stuck.

with a 45's record stacker....pretty high tech...lol
Do you remember the little plastic inserts for the 45s so they would fit on a turntable without a stacking adapter?

That's it, Still thinking! We had some of those. I also still have that 45 of the Beatles. I also remember how it was interesting that the other side of the 45 was sometimes better than the well known marketed side!
I remember getting a portable 8 track player and thought it was the best thing ever. I would bring it into my very uncomfortable car ( no airconditioning , just the little floor air vents) and drive " to town".
