  This is the larva of the ichneumonidae. It has been 'designed' to eat the host caterpillar alive. You can read more about it here.

  This is but one of many examples of parasitism in the natural world. Tell me, why did God design parasitism? If I can wrap my head around that one, maybe you can persuade me to at least become a deist.

  Even if there is a creator, he certainly didnty create or author a single word of the OT. It is an insult to imply someone so grand and intelligent would end up copying ideas from local religions to create his own. the language, writing, calendar, holidays, sacrifices, architecture and so on are all copies with slight modifications of their canaan and neighbouring peoples.

  FYI, parasites also afflict humans, with nefarious consequences. Then again, parasites do help keep populations under control, so God's plan is at work when millions are infected with malaria, culling human overpopulation? QC, that design does not compute, comprende?

  Design can be the Occam's razor cause-and-effect best answer for the scientific evidence found in creation.

  The "principle of design" (artifacts, code, instructions, etc.) is the criteria SETI uses as it searches for intelligence in outer space.

  Parasites are part of earth's ingenious ecosystem decay/renewal cycles. Man's loss of optimal robustness, with immunity to diseases (caused by parasites, viruses, etc.), is a human condition with resolution. This we know from the recent DNA genetic science grasp of the human genome (mapping) along with the ENCODE Project deciphering its potential for disease mastery.
