I guess I am asking if most people change religions or reject religion out of hand after leaving?

In certain circles it is rumored that I just might not be a theist.

In that context, I attempted applying wit when you wrote "God" and I asked "Who?".

Im come here whenever I can break away from the daily grind. chores, kids, work etc. Its nice to touch base with others who can relate.
I hear ya'.
I too noticed major judgmental behavior and gossip at the hall and in my own J.W. family. I think exposing other peoples faults somehow helped them feel a little less guilty about their own.

YES! All the ones doing the stone-throwing live in glass houses themselves and then they bitch when they are talked about! We stay right out of it but I think we hear most of it because we are like "neutral ground".

I seemed to have stepped on a few toes when I commented on the 10 readers yet no one said hi.

I did not mean any offence to Judith when I said this. I just thought it was rude for perople to read her post but not say so much as a "hi". To those who are offended by the remark, I think there are much more important things in life to worry about.

I personally wasnt offended by it but I dont understand the need to bring up something like that? I honestly would have never thought of such a petty thing like, how many people read this without posting. I dont understand why it would even need to be mentioned? Its like you had to point out the fact that others didnt post to make your post somehow seem more valid or compassionate or something. Maybe the first 10 readers were people who have never posted, just readers, afraid to post etc.
Correct me if Im wrong but when I first started posting on this board you were pointing out that certain posters were "Always editing their comments" like it was some kind of terrible thing.
Seems to me like that comment you made about "more important things to worry about" could also apply to yourself.
