I am a Canadian, however I grew up in Beirut Lebanon and
then I lived in England and I finally came to the United States
where I attended the University of California, I graduated in 1977.
My brother graduated from UCLA with a Law Degree
and practiced law for 30 years. Mexico and Nicaragua both
have functioning legal systems and reports of sexual abuse
will be taken seriously. Nicaragua is a member of the United Nations
and has signed onto the (UN) Convention on the Rights of the Child
(Nicaragua 2009, 14; US Aug. 2007, ).
Nicaragua has also signed the following international treaties
related to children's rights: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights,
the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights,......
and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of
Discrimination Against Women.
Research Directorate, a program official of the Program for
Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH), an
NGO originating in Seattle with a Nicaraguan office,
which is part of the Movement Against Sexual Abuse
(Movimiento Contra el Abuso Sexual), a network of
41 organizations, networks and individuals working
to make sexual abuse a visible public issue in Nicaragua
(Movimiento Contra el Abuso Sexual 2009),
So, perhaps it is YOU who do not know what you are talking
about ? Or you have no education ? And you have lived
isolated in the JW cult of fear and ignorance and have
no idea how legal systems work in the worldwide community
of nations ? You assume the Nicaraguans have no intelligence ?
No legal system ? No understanding of these issues ?
Had you contacted the authorities with what you know,
they would have closed down the Bethel Branch and
thrown the WT out of the country.
