Kate: a theist could certainly say that but he would be wrong.

if theism was true a loving god would understand humans require evidence both to accept god exist, and to know which one. He choose not to.

with evolution, it is furtunately we have evidence -- which we do, it has convinced nearly all scientists evolution is true. Contrast this to all the worlds religions

I agree if God cared he would fix my problems and your's and probably people with no limbs would grow limbs too. It's a shame God doesn't care about anyone isn't it?

If you choose to ignore it you are free to do so.-cofty

LOL! This isn't blue linking me to my post that suggests I want to ignore evolution, or in fact I am an evolution denier. Perhaps becuase I know evolution is a fact. I am ejamacated ya know. There is no debate here cofty we agree.

I am starting a new thread about food now. You can join me there if you wish. I am not posting on this one again.

It was a generic "you" Kate. I should have written "if somebody chooses to ignore it they are free to do so".

We live in a world where God both exists (for some people), and does'nt exist (for some people) and the rest haven't decided.

It is impossible to know for an absolute certainty what a world without the concept of God would look like.

Science fiction writers have given it a good go though.
