Thanks for updating us with the bittersweet post. It is truly surreal how the Watchtower treats people. I'm glad to know that "the truth will out" on the upcoming Dateline. I applaud your bravery in speaking out for justice. It's just as courageous as any other acts and now they've exacted their pound of flesh. You've come out on the winning side!

As my sister was abused by an elder in our congregation this topic hits home with me. Everyone involved in this has just opened doors for others and should be very proud. You have given others hope and will help others in the future for sure!

Wishing you peace and contentment as you venture into a new path of your life and that of your family.
How much I have learned about the Society since I have left has been a real awakening. Sadly I spent most of my years bound up in the orgainzation. I guess at the time I thought it was the right path, but now with all the enlightenment I've learned it has caused me to feel that I was cheated out of so many things in life. Well now I intent to live my live to the fullest and I don't regret for one minute leaving the WTBS. I hope you enjoy your freedom from oppression and may you have a wonderful life. My goodness Barbara, my heart does bleed for you. Honestly I have a difficult time imagining being in your shoes. Difficult times but good times ahead for you and yours. I had no idea who ARoarer was. The name certainly fits doesn't it??

I have been secretly e-mailing your story to witnesses I know. Even if they don't watch the Dateline story, they are hearing about it from me.
