What did you expect? A pat in the back for speaking against Jehovah's organization and Jesus' annointed brothers? Don't get me wrong, I understand your struggle, but you have crossed way over the line. You have been mislead and you sincerely think that those that are helping do because they care for you. If they cared they would helping you with your spirituality by helping you get closer to Jehovah. Instead they will do anything in their power (or twisted words) to get you to leave Jehovah's sanctuary.

You are fighting the only person that ever really cared for you, and that is Jehovah. You are using all your resource and energy, not to punish the wrondoer (in this case a pedophile), but to speak against Jehovah's people. What you don't realize is the difficulty that the brothers in Bethel have in guiding 6 million of Jehovah's people worldwide.

They are doing their best to follow all Bible law and principles and at the same time protecting Jehovah's sheep. But you have decided to turn against that arrangement, similarly as how Miriam turned against Moses, her flesh brother. She might have been right in her critic of Moses, but it wasn't her place to speak against Jehovah's annointed servant. Do you honestly think that Jehovah has closed his eyes to the abuse of children? Of course not, he has a plan. But you as an imperfect human being, question his plan or solutions?

Barbara and her family have been waiting 14 years for this "know everything" organization of yours -- to get any sense of justice, or change in organizational approach, based on what happened to a young girl in their family in 1988.

Have you been similarly hurt by the crime of molestation? Have your cries for mercy or justice been ignored for year after year?

And please, don't start up with this "fighting against Jehovah" argument. Jehovah is not equivalent with an imperfect organization of men. If Jehovah is as he says he is in the Bible, he cares a hell of a lot more for little children than the organization that took his name upon it.

Miriam might have been right in her criticism of Moses? Please, say you aren't serious. She and Aaron both were dead wrong. You're comparing apples and oranges here, in an attempt to make your criticism of innocent people. Innocent yes -- unless you count being outspoken in behalf of young, helpless children some sort of spiritual crime.

I am sorry to hear of this decision, but only because it is unjust!
I am happy that you and your husband and family have been released from bondage to an organization that long ago ceased to be Christ-like.

I am also happy that they are so STUPID to have done this NOW and IN CONCERT with the other JC's at the Society's behest. (Don't even try to deny THAT, WT!!!! J.R. BROWN is really inept! Is Legal having conniption fits yet?)

For me, it's only a little more than one year after I disassociated myself and I cannot TELL you how wonderfully 'light' my psyche now feels.

I wish you and yours all the happiness in the world! You have all shown a great deal of strength and courage and I just want to say how proud I am of all of you!

I remember when I was df'd 26 years ago - I heard it from someone else, that they df'd me in my absence - I didn't even get told there was going to be a judicial committe that I could attend if I so wished!

That feeling that the people you trusted most all of your life so far could cast you aside so easily and so unsympathetically cuts right to the bone. Makes you feel so heavy inside.

But thankfully, you will not find that here.

We love you (and I truly mean that)with a love untainted from wanting to use you/ abuse you/ lie to you/ shun you if you don't do as we say!

Schibolet, you have been misled by the ones you believe are the "glorious ones" and it is they who teach false doctrines of men, and twist the Scriptures to elevate themselves over their "sheep". I have previously directed much energy in the child abuse issue because of my personal experience. First, you have no clue to my struggle, for if you did you would not be "peaching" your clonelike Watchtower rhetoric to me, Second, I am don't measure my personal relationship to my Creator and my spirituality, and my closeness with my Creator to twisted lies of the Watchtower Society. You, my friend worship a False God that has taken the Name of God and used it for it's own selfish means with no thought to it's members. I don't believe for a moment that your idea of "Jehovah's Sanctuary" lies with a multimillion dollor, lawyer directed, land owning, political partner of like religions before the Supreme Court, with billions of dollars worth of Real Estate and financial holdings etc., etc.,...... After being in the Watchtower for so many years now have learned not to accept "twisted words" without first doing my own homework. That is called critical thinking, something Watchtower forbids you to do. So don't repeat their opinions base on twisted words. Use the brain and the heart God gave you and be like the boreans and see if these things are really so. I have, and boy was I suprised, and angry at myself for having the gullibility to believe it all those years. First start with researching the "glorious ones" based on what the WT teaches and then compare to you own research beyond their publicatons and their translation of the Bible. Once you do that you will find a piece of your "sanctuary" is crumbling. That is where the "Truth will set you free"
By the way, I believe I know you, or maybe you just sound like all the other death wishing "friends" I used to have.

You really do make me wonder if you have read any of what has gone on in this case and many others like it.

I hope you never have to go through what Barbara has been through.

Indeed, those "shepherds" who supposedly care for her welfare should have protected her - not condemned her. The only thing they were concerned about was the "good name" of the organisation, as if it still has one! What did they do about the sin committed against her and others like her?

You think the world doesn't know what is going on? You think your neighbours don't read newspapers? It's all gonna come out, mate, so you better be prepared.

The truth hurts doesn't it? But Jehovah God is proud of our sister Barbara - you know why? Because despite what it has cost her, she has fought tooth and nail for the truth. That's right - the truth.

She has fought so that others should not be abused as she was. She has fought for everything the Bible stands for - truth, justice, honesty, and love for her fellow man.

All the organisation wants to do is cover it up. You remember a WT article way back in about 1973? About covering up sin under the carpet? The picture showed a man brushing sin under his rug and the text spoke about those in the world who will not let the truth be known.

Now who is brushing sin under the rug? Now who is afraid for the truth to come out?

When will you see that the organisation is corrupt and cares only for its members as long as they toe the line? May Jehovah be merciful and open your blind eyes.
