I know how hard it is to go through what you're going through, though in the long run, there's no doubt in my mind that you'll all be better off out of the organization, especially since you have been freed from their mental bondage as well. My hats off to you and your courageous family. Imagine, being vicitimized many times over by a religion and when comfort and relief are sought, you are cast aside as if mere trash. I never thought it possible for the Watchtower to stoop so low, but they have proven themselves to be amongst the most ungody religion there is. Surely, they cannot any part of any organization God may use today, if they ever were.

They may sit now and point out how they are being persecuted by all this, but it is not persecution, but devine retribution. By their line of reasoning, the Catholics would be the true church, as they have been receiving this treatment for far longer. But, deep in my heart, I believe that God does not work through any religion.

I am delighted that you and your family have broken free of the Watchtower, yet I am sad that you have been so mistreated by them at the same time. Still, I am angry that they choose to mistreat goodhearted people so callously and still claim to be God's Channel of Communication. Hopefully, many will sit and take notice of their unchristian conduct and break free.

Try to soothe yourself when you recall they said that the elders try to work with these ones who have committed grave sins, that only after repeated attempts to try to provoke them to repentance are they df'd.....

Its ALL bullshit! I went to sooooooo many meetings after being df'd and endured, but no more. I am not evil or wicked.

Please remember that you are loved. Please remember that Jehovah loves the ones that skinned and thrown about like sheep with a shepherd. Please remember that Jesus said he would refresh us.

I know it's rough right now but in a year or two you may look back on this as one of the best moments of your life - the day you officially became free.

Dearest Barbara,

I know how you feel! Three years ago, I left the Borg also, but I came away with no one. I decided that in order for me to become the healthy person I needed to become that my marriage had to go too. We were married twenty years, and he was an elder for fifteen of those twenty. I am part of WA, in fact, they saved my ass many times. Being part of that wonderful group of ladies has been one of God's blessings in my life and I can definitely say amen to your comment about God sending wonderful people into your life. He/She has done the same for me. For the most part my life has become so much better, I read and watch what I want to and am finally becoming a more well rounded balanced person. I still have alot of growing to do, but I am definitely feeling the freedom that leaving the Borg has given me! My prayers are with you and your family.
