Dont know where you are NVR2L8 but there are several, several Witness hockey games set up with many elders who play as well as one CO. Must be a local rule.

Read everything you can about the Organization. If you don't care about what is true and what is not--it might not bother you to stay in. But the micro-managing is absolutely destructive. and the effect the WT has on family life----RUN, RUN, RUN! There are horror stories here.

Sacred Heart...Canadiens should be a clue! Now my neighbors are mostly Leafs fans. When I started fading I was told I was no longer welcomed to the 3 games I played in for over a decade with my JW friends, including some from the Canadian bethel... So within a day I found 2 teams I could play with at the local arena. Better hockey and less drama...and the only condition is to pay my share of the cost for ice rental.

Panthers. Beards are a cult control mechanism and nothing to do with the bible or Jesus. It is said that Rutherford started it to distance the cult from Russel. There is nothing scriptural about beards. You will find this with cult law.......it's control over love of god.
I am convinced thr GB know exactly what they are doing...I wager they don't even believe in god because money is their god. They need it tokeep their rock star life style.

@punkofnice you mentioned you were an ex elder. How could you say that money is the god of the GB? Aren't the GB looking out for fellow witnesses and following the direction by the Holy Spirit?
