Yes Kate - I like that reinstatement one. The trouble with doctrines like the mediator issue is that it's all too easy to get into the situation where you are batting scriptures back and forth, which JWs are very good at, and in this instance I want to avoid that. Blood is a good one, because although it can lead to a scriptural ping-pong game, their practical application of it is illogical. The fractions issue asside, I could never understand why you couldn’t use fertilizers that contained blood, after all, into the ground is where blood was supposed to go.

This IMO is the key statement to the paragraph:
Still, when exposed to unscriptural teachings, regardless of the source, we must decisively reject them.
now what about their UNSCRIPTUAL TEACHINGS?!

What fractions of fornication and idolatry are ok?
Well blowjobs aren't even acceptable for married JWs, so not that. Or are they? The WT has gone back and forth on that issue so many times I can't even recall if they're acceptable or not!
Apparently pedophiles in the congregation are considered to be a "fractional form of fornication."
An example of a "fraction of idolatry" would be on-line porn so long as it isn't "abhorrent" or "sexually degrading." Even then, that's apparently OK as long as the one viewing it does not have an "entrenched" practice, whatever that means.
Note this quote from the Shepherd the Flock of God book: "Such pornography may include sadistic torture, bondage, gang rape, the brutalizing of women, or child pornography" (STFOG, p. 64)
So, evidently, it's worse to view child pornography than it is to actually molest a child!
This is one messed up religion!!!

The Reasoning book is great for ttatt____HeyThere
.
.
Sure is
That brown book will become the floater that won't flush for the WTS
All through it talks about the " generation that was alive in 1914 "
not some " Overlapp "
.
.
The Reasoning book supports the infamous May 15, 1984 WT " The generation that will not die "
that are now All Dead
.
.
The only thing " Nu light " does is shine the light on a false prohet

Since your friend has been an active witness since the 70s, he should remember chapter 25 in the "Revelation Its Grand Climax At Hand!"(2006) book. The "two witnesses" are discussed in chapter 25 of the above book.
Rev.11:3 And I will cause my two witnesses to prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days dressed in sackcloth.
Since Jehovah's Witnesses are not Prophets, according to their own words. They are not inspired, and need to make corrections about their teachings,1914 generation, Rutherford with 1925, and "Children". Jehovah's Witnesses do claim to be "Prophets". Meaning they talk about their interpretation of Bible prophecy and when it does not come true they receive "new light". So Prophet and "Prophet" are two differant meanings in Wt. world.
By their own words it is not scriptural to apply the "two witnesses" to Jehovah's Witnesses because they have not been a true prophet of God. You have to be accurate all the time to reach the catagory "true prophet of God".

Exactly Darth - that is precisely my point – to obey the FDS here, my friend will have to 'decisively reject ' them, which will give him a dilema.
