So did you have a point or did you just want to take a swipe at an imaginary strawman you labelled as "fundamnetalist evolutionists"?
I think my points were made.

Your point seemed to be that some imaginary group of people known as " fundamnetalist evolutionists" used to think that everything was equally evolved and they are not open to new ideas, but you won't explain what you mean by either of those terms or what new ideas you mean.
Hmmm?
Have a conversation w yourself about it.

Why is it that people who are self-admittedly ignorant of a subject are those that accuse people who are educated on being elitist or not open to new ideas? It betrays not only ignorance of a subject, but also of a key component of the scientific method. I just don't get the wilingness, almost eagerness, to be critical of ideas and topics you know you are ignorant of.
I didn't say ignorant. I said i may not have all the terms down pat. Its not enough for me to believe in evolution and have a general knowledge about it, is it? I must not criticise science and evolution. Ok, got it, sister viviane.

I must not criticise science and evolution. Ok, got it,
Of course you can criticise it. Science will award you a Nobel Prize if you can successfully criticise something important enough.
Inventing strawman arguments and refusing to explain your points doesn't count.
i may not have all the terms down pat
I don't know shit either - its ok :-)
I "think" i understand this shark evolution - maybe not enough to explain. I'll read that chapter in "Greatest Show" and might have to ask some questions. My husband confused me last night with something our newspaper indicated.
Looking for Cofty's summary of that book - that should help.
