The great irony of the NT is you have saint Paul telling people that the preincarnate Jesus gave Moses a divine set of Laws teaching self responsibility and accountability then concocts the Charis doctrine to undo it all.

A self loathing Jew with a supressed sexuality goes on to create one of the most influential religions known to the human species. He should have been in jail for assisting in a murder but instead he is looked to as a beacon of spirituality and enlightenment.

Thank you for sharing and highlighting the "present possession" observation and supporting scriptures Perry.

I love it.

The Watchtower being physical/religious/carnal is not able to discern the spiritual.

So their truncated version of the Good News consists only of "future physical".

They miss and hide the "present spiritual".

And that is how they keep millions captive, addicted and blind.

It is no accident that their followers know nothing of the "Good News" according to Paul.

And yet more than half the Bible's roughly 152 references to "Good News" are by Paul.

Paul was a good salesman and millions have bought into his brand of superstition, sadly.

Thinking that a JW doesn't 'get it' while an Evangelical does is just such drivel I don't know how the words come out of some peoples mouths.

Do you really consider someone 'spiritual who believes in a literal Hell Fire (and teaches their children this awful ideology), who believes the earth is only a few thousand years old (and forces their children to believe this nonsense).

If we could put Paul aside for a minute, I'm wondering how you would respond if asked if the Good News or gospel according to Moses, Isaiah and Psalms was in your heart and on your lips? (Isa 61:1; Ps 68:11)

Isaiah 61:1 "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor."

Psalms 68:11 "The Lord announced the word, and great was the company of those who proclaimed it."

Fernando what do you think the context of each passage is addressing and how would a Jew view those verses.
