Please let me rephrase,
Xandit, I have read discussions on this very board I have stayed out of, because I never had any experience with them. That is what I meant about you not belonging here. I meant on this thread. I feel that sometimes our comments come out and we may hurt people more than do good. So if you have no experience on a matter such as the others I feel that you may benefit us elswhere on the board.
Sorry if I sounded harsh before that was not my intent. I just reread my post and that sounded REALLY mean sorry

Xandit,
At the age of 60, I think I'll stay off the football field. The last time I played many years ago a JW came through the line and rammed his elbow into my chin and split it wide open... ah memories, memories. I would be up for a game of baseball (not softball). Also, I still play a good game of table tennis..not looking forward to the day when my reflexes really slow down.
The people at your hall would love me. I would go from apostate to elder in about thirty minutes.
Now, Xandit, regarding your counseling techniques. Sometimes you have to pat people on the head before you kick 'em in the butt. On a serious note, I don't know it you have been around someone close to you who had serious mental problems. It is not easy and it is not a simple matter of telling them to shape up, believe me.

Anyways, back on topic: Hey Xandit, when are you going to introduce me to that sister?j/k
I'm just joking ppl. I thought I'd give this thread a much-needed lightening up. No need to thank me, just remember to smile today!
*I think I had too much Mountain Dew today*

Hey there DLJ,
How's college going? Now, if you get any hard term papers, just post here. We will help you out. With 700 people signed up to post, we know just about everything!
By the way, there's a girlee type person asking about college on another thread. Maybe you could give her some advice. I gave her my 85 cents worth, but someone like you who is doing it would have more credebility than some old fogey like me.

Drives,
I hope you keep coming and posting. You just crack me up. Too much Mountain Dew was a nice touch.

For all the hair splitters out there, when I talked about softball nearly every weekend that was the congregation where I grew up, which seemed fairly evident from the thread. You guys get nit picky in a hurry when it suits you don't you? The rest of the time you just say "pass me another camel."
To mommy, I don't need you advice about whether I post here or not so spare yourself the effort.
To larc, they're so busy patting themselves on the head and back that I doubt any effort on my part would have any significant effect. Perhaps there are some serious mental problems running around here ) but mostly there's a lot of self-indulgence, at least that's my impression. I'm not too bad with people that actually have such problems, especially if those problems have been diagnosed by some kind of clinician, not very good with those that self-diagnose )

Xandit,
Shame on you!
Don't you know when you post on a discussion board, you are giving us the right to reply to your statements. I replied to your heartless, finger pointing. I said to leave this thread, now you can stay and continue to show your true colors, or you can go back to your room like a good boy.
I for one will not stand by and watch you trivialize people and their experiences. You have NO right to comment on a discussion you know nothing about. Go back to your world and enjoy it. And when the world crumbles around you and you need a listening ear, we will be here for you.
