You are so right, silly of me...I overlooked a good number of key artists, Fleetwood Mac, etc, etc...really could have gone on forever!!!
Im mixed up tho, in just about every genre, I find alot that I can dig...except thrash metal tho...Im into lyrics I can understand...lol...

Mentors. If you can find them (lead singer and heart of the band was killed by a train a couple years ago), any of their albums are good. Some of their better tracks include:
Mentors, To the Max: "When You're Horny, You're Horny"
Mentors, Up the Dose: "Secretary Hump," "Golden Showers," "Herpes 2," "Couch Test Casting," "SFCC (Suck and Fuck and Cook and Clean)," "Adultery"
Mentors, You Axed For It: "Sandwich of Love"
Mentors, Live at the Cathay De Grande: "My Woman From Sodom," "Peeping Tom," "Free Fix"

Nobody's mentioned Oasis !
O.k. they may be a couple of Mancunian tossers but 'What's the Story Morning Glory' is the best rock album of the nineties.
Others,
Radiohead - OK Computer and The Bends.
Metallica - Metallica. 'Nothing Else Matters' - Brilliant.
Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magic
The Fall and Rise of Ziggy Stardust - Bowie
U2 - Achtung baby - Their best album
"Wings - The band The Beatles could have been!" - Alan Partridge

The Who - Who's Next: Great album, has my favorite song "Baba O'Riley" and "Won't get Fooled"
Any Led Zeppelin (not just Physical Graffiti)
Live - Throwing Copper
Tool's new album (Lateralus) is great
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Metallica - Master of Puppets or the black album. The new orchestral "S&M" CD is also very good
Grateful Dead - American Beauty or Europe 72
Guns n Roses - Appetite for Destruction

You Move Me
-------------
This is how it seems to me
Life is only therapy
Real expensive
And no guarantee
So I lie here on the couch
With my heart hanging out
Frozen solid with fear
Like a rock in the ground
But you move me
You give me courage I didn't know I had
You move me
I can't go with you
And stay where I am
So you move me
This is how love was to me
I could look and not see
Going through the emotions
Not knowin' what they mean
And it scared me so much
That I just wouldn't budge
I might have stayed there forever
If not for your touch
Oh but you move me
Out of myself and into the fire
You move me
Now I'm burning with love
And with hope and desire
How you move me
You go whistling in the dark
Making light of it
Making light of it
And I follow with my heart
Laughing all the way
Oh 'cause you move me
you get me dancing and you make me sing
You move me
Now I'm taking delight
In every little thing
How you move me
