anyone who thinks that all men are 'bad' is an idiot. anyone who thinks that every individual (in this case, every male individual) in any religion/org is 'bad' is an idiot.

I agree with Naebs again...this is too scary! Of course, I've said this before here too and took the risk of stoning.
I believe that some here have enmeshed their family issues with their WT issues and this is why they react with rage toward JWs. It's not a healthy manner in which to recover IMO.

Thank you. As you know it is a hard road out of the JWs, my only point on this thread is: "Man, we are all together for good or bad. JWs are misled and while it's true there are some bad apples among them there are some good and sincere people also. Let's please acknowledge that."
I applaud your honesty not just here but in many other threads also.

hi island woman............ mostly ......... you sound like you encorage people to stay in the organization.............trying to fix it,........ and you use examples such as "ray franz"........ yet, he got kicked out, despite his efforts to fix it..........
do you love wicked organizations??????...........and do you like to talk members into "staying' in the abusive environment?".......... and do you encourage them to "stop putting the abusive environment of the cult down"?........ "and stop talking about things cult members did, like molestation, and cover ups"?
I don't see any of the things that you suggest crawdad. I think Island Woman's main point is very reasonable. That while we may disagree with the policies of the Watchtower, most of it's members are raised from childhood witnesses that are unaware how hurtful their behaviour can be. The only thing that can be accomplished by your guns blazing style is throwing up the Witnesses defence mechanism. Is that what you want?

She has been posting here a long time Crawdad.. much longer than you, and I have not
seen one bit of evidence of her attempting to smooth talk anyone back into the
watchtower. Just because some people can have a moderate view of the Witnesses
does not mean they are pro-witnesses. If she is trying to smooth talk people,
then I guess I am too.

Over the months I have grown to admire your feistiness and uncompromising stance. I disagree with some of your views and agree with others, but always enjoy the way that you fire from the hip and make us think.
