People are individuals. The make their choices and suffer the consequences. We all were JW's at one time or another (or most of us on here anyway), funny how easy it appears to be to forget that....

well it's not just naebs and iw who are saying that jws aren't all bad. my parents are jws and i don't think they are bad, i think they are mislead. saying ALL people of any org are ALL bad is just too simplistic! life is not like that. you seem to still be stuck in a black/white way of thinking. try looking for the shades of gray. now if you state the WTS is bad then i'd agree with you there. there is a difference between WTS and JWs, do you see that difference?

ugh. i've had enough of bad boys to last me the rest of my life.
i'll take a sensitive, insightful, creative, confident, intellectual man any day. bad boys are just that - boys. and insecure ones at that.

IW, Thank you for this most thoughtful thread. I have come to the conclusion along time ago, that most JWs are good, well meaning people caught in a bad system. Francois, I don't think the Hitler analogy applies. He set up the system, and it was evil. I would say that most Germans were good people caught in a bad system, same opinion that I have regarding the JWs. Naeblis, I enjoy your humor, and I enjoyed your thoughtful post here as well. It was good to see you end the serious subject with humor. I often do that myself in every day life. Now, regarding Canada. I understand that the state of Michigan is about to pass a law, where they will annex Canada. That should fix things.
