My personal belief is that God used evolution to create man. I live in the best of both worlds.

I kind of agree with you coolbreeze. My gut feeling is there's more to life/the universe etc than is currently understood, call it GOD tm or whatever you want. I don't believe he's a male single parent however. I also understand how people find it difficult to comprehend life starting spontaneously. However, once it was started by god or chance or whatever, the evidence that Evolution through natural selection brought it to where it is today is overwhelming.

BTW, do you still have me on ignore, pome? :)

What fence? Just beautiful open country without the enclosing boundries man made doctrine. People who put up fences so they can pick a side be on, just defile the countryside. Sorry, I refuse to buy into man-defined black/white answers, because my world is filled with all the colors of the rainbow.

    Pomegranate,

Some of the above are NOT Christian. Some just believe in God.

    Which ones?

Anyway, I'm not contradicting your point that these men are (who knows for sure?) intelligent. I'm pointing out the fact that just because a man is intelligent it does not necessarily follow that he is intellectually honest. Do you refute that fact?

    Cool

Nice point about fences. God didn't create them. They are a product of religion.

    Which ones?

What difference does it make? The point is, many many many believe an intelligent Being formed everything with full intention, whether it be Allah, Buddah, Jehovah or Sam the Sham from the Pharaoh galaxy. A scientific man being "Christian" or otherwise is a red herring. We are talking creation or evolution, not the potential of what flavor God a man believes in as smoke clouding his reasoning capabilities.

I'm pointing out the fact that just because a man is intelligent it does not necessarily follow that he is intellectually honest. Do you refute that fact?

I wouldn't call it FACT unless I knew it for sure. Also, that goes for the evolutionists equally so. Surely MEN from both camps (creation/evolution) can portray intellectual dishonesty just as easy as the other, with none being more or less dishonest than the other.

ANY MAN can be that way. That's why I dig into deeply myself because who can I trust?

Creationists have nothing to gain by their position.

Evolutionists have created their release from God.

Creationists have provided theselves an escape from evolution.

Religion is a product of man.

Men put up fences. God destroys the fences.

Sorry, I refuse to buy into man-defined black/white answers,

So do I. I buy into the white of God.

because my world is filled with all the colors of the rainbow.

Without the white of light there is no color.
