I would encourage you to read more and learn more from here. The comments you made are exactly what I would hear when I attended. The WTS facts are distorted at best.

In my opinion, you should investigate big time what people say here. The WTS asked those interested before baptizm to analyze their religion. They really make a good point of it. THEN, once you are in, don't dare question the WTS. Do NOT investigate; if you do you will be thrown out.

I challenge you to really investigate, with an open heart.

Sounds to me like you were raised in the WTS, and know nothing else. I am not critizing, for I too grew up as a witness. But I did check it out.

I am not confused. I am guessing that you are, though, because you have not found your own way while out of the organization. Is that the only place where truth can be found? Pursuit of the truth is a noble goal. Are you studying the bible regularly? Some here study the bible by picking a theme or topic, and reading all the verses on that topic. Why not start by reading about the meaning of "charity"?

    sad really......

the witnesses may have done a good job on me...but the job the world has done on a lot of you out there is even worse. instead of blaming the people in the organization, all you critics of the truth are blaming the organization for all the mistakes of a few. humans are not perfect, and a few hide behind the mask of being witnesses when they are wrong. that doesnt make the organization bad...it makes the people in it bad.

sorry to state the obvious but some just dont see it!

zolensky, I will steer you back int the organization,

Take a right on Main, go a few thousand years, take another right, you will hit a road block, listen to what the construction workers say, you might have that 'stop' sign up for a while, but don't move, just wait on the road maintenance people to tell you what to do. Oh and if you decide to take your own path, the road maintenace people have an in with the Higway patrol. if you don't obey their rules to stop, you will get a ticket..or worse than that..arrested!

    Hope that helps!

IF YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR HELP TO RETURN TO THE MEETINGS, WHY DON'T THE ELDERS HELP YOU? MAYBE THEY ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOB. MAYBE THEY HAVE NO LOVE FOR YOU, LIKE THEY HAVE NO LOVE FOR MANY.

You said that if anyone had the truth really ingrained in them, they would never leave. They will if the so-called truth is false, and they have. Many here are examples. The truth is naturally ingrained in us, we want it and need it, but some need it more than others...usually those that are so convinced they already have it.

The WT controls your behavior by controlling information. At the same time the only info you're allowed is controlling your thoughts that produce your behavior. The easiest way to control your thoughts is to control your emotions. It feels good to please Jehovah, there's nothing better, but humbly submitting to some organization so-called His arrangement is not going to do it.

What seems to be ingrained in you is untrue, but the truth doesn't need you to be true. None of us are perfect either, which we'll freely admit. Be careful if you go back not to boast, God created foolishness for that very reason.

    Zolensky,

I was a JW for 50 years. I left for Bible reasons, not because of being disgruntled. It was the best thing I ever did for myself. Now my prayers are answered, and now I understand the Bible for what it really says, not according to the way the WT Society filters it first.

For most of those 50 years, I felt as you do now. I had doubts at times, but I stifled them because of the Society's warnings against so-called "independent thinking." It wasn't until I decided to read the Bible cover-to-cover for the first time in my life that I came to realize all the errors in what the WT teaches. Because of full-time service most of my JW days, I never had time to read the Bible as it should be read. Before you go back to the organization, I just wish you would make it a point to do what I did. You will often discover that, right in the context of many Bible chapters, there is a strong contradiction to what the WT teaches.

You've got to read the Bible as though it was written for you. God did not intend for someone else to spoon-feed you their interpretation of what it means.

We ARE better than the org, because the org doesn't care about humans. They are about the faceless org that has empty promises, and an even emptier future.

i don think it is that hard to see that all those who are outside that claim to be happy are only that way because the world is appealing to their physical pleasures and lets them do what they want to

Ohhh, I see... anyone who leaves your organization obviously has selfish intentions.

Have you ever considered the possibility that we were screwed over by that organization? Lied to? Been treated cruelly? Had out families destroyed?

    Matthew 7:15-20
15 "Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to YOU in sheep's covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits YOU will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? 17 Likewise every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit; 18 a good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, neither can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. 19 Every tree not producing fine fruit gets cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Really, then, by their fruits YOU will recognize those [men].

Looks like BAD fruit to me!
