Something somewhere in one of the publications where it said nobody should be forced to choose between their families & worshipping how they would like to worship.

I believe it was sometime in late 2009.

For a JW,, try going to a Catholic mass,, and its found out see how well that goes with your local elders & family.

No one should be forced to choose between their families & religion. I know the Borg said it.

That they were only a UN NGO for almost 10 years so that they could use the library......

While their brothers in Malawi were tortured and killed for not buying a party card as per WT instructions.

Yet their brothers in Mexico were allowed by WT to bribe officials in order to get out of military draft.

This particular heinous hypocrisy which directly led to mass torture and murder of their own brothers and sisters and children really affects me, I remember my mother writing one of those "please stop" letters to the president of Malawi, as recommend by WT, I was a child then.

The WT is a sick, evil and destructive corporation, just like a beast.

That Mexico/ Malawi thing is aweful.

Whats even more disgusting is how dubs dont want to know or even have no clue about it.

I think the constant "end is THIS close" talk is the one that comes to mind the most. In part because of the way they try to rationalize the fact that the end still has not come. They talk as if the end will happen within months, if not weeks or days. If you wonder why it's taking so long, they say that it isn't taking long, not from Jehovah's point-of-view.

Of course, if you are taking that approach, then the end might not be for hundreds --or even thousands-- of years. After all, a day is as a thousand years for God! Oh, what's that? We're almost at the end of the sixth creative day? So it has to be any second now? Then why are you telling me about how patient Jehovah is, if that has nothing to do with when the end will happen???

    Heres the thing.

The Borg is & still successful at keeping the droves in anticipation of the big A & the non biblical paradise.

Its very clear with the broadcasting,, GB updates & the 2024 annual meeting.

Humans have an inherited fear of the eventuality of well,,, death. Henceforth,,,escape from this "" eventuality.

If you can conned- vince people that this ""end"" is imminent & you can keep them enslaved to the Borg & victimize them & keep them in bondage performing free labor. You know the interests of the Borg.

The Borg sellls this urgency,,, the $heeples buy it.

Once the Borg stops selling Armageddon,, paradise & urgency the free labor & money comes to a halt.

Sea Breeze: I would like to start a thread on lies that the Watchtower and their reps have told. Surely we all have one or two that truly sticks out in our memories, no matter how much we would like to forget.

My favorite WT lie: The reason they don't want to release the name of the "scholars" who worked on the New World Translation is because they do not want to accept "glory and honor" from others. [...] (Q): Why the secrecy?

(A): Because the committee of translation wanted it to remain anonymous and not seek any glory or honour at the making of a translation, and having any names attached thereto.
    Oh! The humility.

It would be a lie if they only adhered to this principle of anonymity with their Bible version and not elsewhere. But there is evidence that the WTS initiated the anonymous practice in their publications way before the appearance of their Bible. Furthermore, as far as I know, they have extended this practice, wherever feasible, to other facets within their organization, and have kept the practice to this day -- overall. So their statement of not seeking "glory and honor" in their Version seems genuine, and not out of place.
