🤦‍♂️ Thanks for demonstrating that you couldn’t properly identify what constituted the false equivalence.

Perhaps it might be good to remember that most of the research on these issues was done by Christians. not "atheists." It is possible to do intellectually honest research and still believe in mystery, it's again, a different form of Christianity than you are familiar with.

Since we all here have been in your position we understand very well, the inner gymnastics of belief and the inner struggle to keep it when faced with disconfirming evidence.

the thing - I was an atheist for about half my life, so I already know how they think. I believed in evolution. I did the college thing and I know the typical response that so-called "educated" atheists give. I was one of them.

I was raised as a jw and was one until about 7 years ago I'm in my 60s now and then I started to read the bible properly and do some independent research into the story's and history of the bible, its fascinating how the bible evolved into what it is today and now I'm a atheist, you should read the bible with a open and honest mind and remove the god glasses and forget about god magic and then you we see that the bible is the uninspired word of man.
