    or insane maybe? LOL.

All Im trying to point out is that through questioning ourselves, and our surroundings... we want others to respect our viewpoint no matter what it is at that moment, and thus we must also respect that the "other person" (whomever you are dealing with) may have come up with thier own conclusions and or feel firm about thier conclusions in thier own way, ... and thus we must respect that.

For example, question this then, prime example. The WTS itself, individuals may argue points of that the WTS releases as belief... but how did they come up with that belief ... and thus however they have, must we not respect that they hold that belief and we our own if we want respect ourselves?

    AOVP,

But the one thing that I am trying to stress to others is... dont only question the WTS, question ones self and any other view points a the same time. As many claim that they have learned from the WTS, and that they have come to another conclusion from questioning thier original view point... question it as well.

How did you arrive at the conclusion that we haven't questioned other view points? Is it not OBVIOUS from our comprehensive posts that

we question just about EVERYTHING (except maybe what brand of diapers you are wearing )?

    PS, Welcome, Anotheropenviewpoint!

Because I am seeing post where people are making statements that the WTS IS WRONG, or such viewpoints ARE WRONG... who are we to judge what is right or wrong when we ourselves do not know what we are basing our conclusions on to begin with.

God has a plan and a natural order of "things."

Perhaps, some of "us" are suppose to make sure "all is as it should be." In the "between time" , humans shall excerise free will.

    Hi, welcome to the board.

I'm sorry to see you return to an organization so full of hate and lies.

    www.escapethewatchtower.com

You rely on religion and faith to distinguish your fear ; fear of an empty afterlife, fear that there is no God. The thoughts that have been embeded into your mind subconsciously have plagued you since you have left, which is why you have returned.

Ask yourself, who really has the truth ? And what is truth ? To believe one set of crazy prophetic speculations ahead of another defiles logic and truth.

Let go of fear and break free from lemminghood.

    Man

you guys /former jw are hard on Newbies- i looked up this guy and he has less than 30 post-

I personally think this is the saddest part about the Net, and that is watching a new person come to the board , express views of support for the WT and former jw jump all over them, one would think that this is the first time fomer jw have seen a newbie come here and express that view-

i have to agree with another poster some former jw act like they didn't learn anything good being a jw and that is a LIE, in almost all belief system they teach folks something good. - like they say-- even Hitler like puppies-

the problem is that teaching folks stuff that is good is not all belief systems do, and here in lies the problem-

i look at the men who are Black Musliums, (Louis Farrakann Boys) clean cut and sharp as a razor-- many, many of them lead lives in prison- they would put a Cap in your A$$ if you just looked at them

so they are taken and thier lives are cleaned up - yet at a price- a very high price for now they hate ALL WHITE FOLKS and worship every word that Farakann utters-

same with jw --many jw were some rough dudes before- and the same can be said of almost all belief systems they provide some type of order to folks lives, but at a price

for me- yes i learned many things being a jw, but for most of us it is the "Under Belly" of the organization that caused us to take stock-

What we have found is real simple: , "All that the WT told us was 24 kt Gold turned out not to be so"

While on top it was gold , we decided to turn it upside down and found that despite being told and reasured that it was solid gold all the way thru, we found out that it was just gold PLATED on some parts

now in and of itself there is nothing wrong with gold plated, the problem is when it is sold as 24kt gold-

I would like to apolgize to you for many folks jumping all in your in "SH!T", but it is due to what many of these folks have taken the time to do and that is research the org-

You made an interesting comment and i would like for you to expand on it if you wouldn't mind-

    You indicated:

"In my search for path, I have read many books "anti-JW" ie. "Reasoning with the Scriptures with the Jehovah's Witnesses", "Kingdom of the Cults", and Franz's books to name a few., and Franz's books to name a few.

Would you be willing to share with us what your thought were on reading in Ray Franz's book esp in the area of the GB creating Dogmas that caused folks to suffer or lose their lives thinking and believing that the dogma was based on the bible and it was not.

I would like to commend you as a young man who is willing to ACTUALLY read the publications that you mentioned above-

sometimes folks get a little rough here, but i encourage you to continue to keep and open mind

in my view, the mere fact that you ARE HERE tells me you do indeed have an open mind

    welcome

I learned alot in my lifetime, which was lived for the first 34 years within the Borg. However, nothing that I learned could not have been learned-probably easier and in less time-outside the Borg. I wasted my time totally. As far as I am concerned the Borg is useless and you are lucky if you get out alive and in time to live some of your precious life.

excellent point - many of the things we learned could have been learned in a good collge class that would have ended in 16 weeks and we would have gotten some college credit towards a degree

Interesting point, could you elaborate please. What did we learn in the Watchtower that we could have been learned in a "good college class?"

    Thanks,
