Men: Honest answers, please, to an honest question

  I think women are better then men,

  why,

  because 7 nights a week, 364 days a year, men are out and about looking and hoping to meet a female.

  So they have to be better,

  I don't know if this is the answer you're looking for, but this is my opinion on men to women .......

  I have run a bar for the past 15 years, currently now I work with 9 very beautiful and smart women,(21-30 years old) they do a fabulous job and look after the customers well, sales are excellent, and that's the bottom line for me.

  The problem with most men is they don't have enough contact with women and I don't mean sex. I mean just everyday discussions and everyday life.

  Maybe I have been spoiled abit, but I work with these people everyday, know them inside and out. And have a great friendship with all of them.

  Most men go to a job with other men, probaly have no females at their job, or none worth looking at. The only thing they know about women is going to the strip club. And treating them like crap, and thinking since their pay check is higher then the wife/girlfriend then they are better.

  I don't know if I make much sense, but that's the way I see it.

  Well Teeja I'll put and end to that political correctness BS right now. Are men and women equal...HELL NO! Ladies, the day you grow testicals is the day I treat you like a man! You are not equal, not now and never will be! Don't come at me like a man does, don't try to use the same manners, tone or demeanor. I'll just blow you off and ignore you like some dopy loon. Women are special, and they need to just deal with it. You women want to lower yourselves by acting like men...that's pathetic! You want my respect...like a man... forget it. I'm going to treat women different, like fine art or like the gift from God they are. And if you ladies don't like ...tough shit! Maverick

  Interesting comment. I used to wonder if just dubs felt that men and women couldn't just be friends (lol should have known better after watching "When Harry met Sally" but hey it was an R movie and I blocked it) but apparently it extends further than that. I have become friends with a few guys that have never had female friends before..it was eye opening.

  It's difficult to understand another "culture", so to speak, if you have never had interaction with them.

  *oh and that comment above...it does apply both ways..

  That concept, in my (admittedly not always so astute) observation, seems.to make so many men so very uncomfortable.

  A lot of people like to have power or control over other people. I'm not surprised many men have trouble with the concept of women being equals, especially if they are more "old school." Fundamentalist religions also encourage the attitude that men are superior.

  I have always strived to treat my wife as an equal, even when we were in the organization.
