Nor do they seem too be looking behind every nook and cranny to find fault with men, like a few I have noticed on this site!
Still curious. Who is looking, in every nook and cranny, to find fault with men, on this site? Do tell Please!

Mecurious-
I hope that you know that I was using an analogy.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, yes, but when you throw your opinion out there, allow it to be questioned. Sometimes when an opinion is put into a different light, it changes.
Also, just because a person can have an opinion based on their limited experience(s), does not make that opinion accurate. Do you concede that there is a possiblity that your experience is limited and might be inaccurate; that there is a possibility that most feminists are physically attractive?
Florida is bittersweet. Beautiful, but humid.

A wicked, twisted and crooked generation keeps on looking for a sign. Truly I say to you no sign will be given this generation.

Mercurious - your statement is very generalized I must say. Perhaps you are getting your "perception" from all your media/information sources depicting feminists as the neo-nazi feminists screaming into their microphones, carrying on their protests, and not being very "feminine" or demur in their behaviors with aesthetic apeasement?
Most women these days are "feminists" - I know very few (unless they're still at some church) who do not believe in the equality of women, so I'm not sure what your point is here. You are definitely talking about 2 different issues. Yes, pretty women can generally become a "token wife" or "head trophy" at times for a man with money - but I dare say in this day & age, and with the sexes striving towards equality - men definitely want more in a relationship than just a good hot body. In this day & age, both sexes can have both - so you really have no valid argument other than your own perceptions.
P.S. My husband says I'm the most beautiful neo-nazi feminist he knows - and I have to type this because he makes all the money - can't give up on that don't ya know! Now, I'm off to the gym to keep this money grabbing body in fit enough shape to keep my sugar daddy, then back to my school work to finish my masters in Psychology!
Methinks this is just an instigating post. Why else would you post such a thing?
Referencing the previous 'feminist' post, I think you'll see that many women hold the 'feminist' ideal but don't use the label. In fact, I think 99% of women are feminists--they are just not in your face about it. (What person WANTS to be put in a lesser catagory?)
By the way--beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people think Pamela Anderson is the epitome of womanly beauty--some people favor the Meryl Streep type. Both are lovely, but very, very different. Just because YOU think a woman is unattractive doesn't mean she is.
Most women are naturally attractive--unless they do things to intentionally ruin their health and beauty--excessive weight, deliberately shabby clothing, etc.
Also, unless a woman relies totally on her appearance, she is a feminist. Example: I used to work for an female attorney. She was drop. dead. gorgeous. Supermodel beautiful. It was shocking. People would see her and be stunned. Men were insane about her. She was a feminist, though. Yeah, she could have married some old rich guy and been pampered the rest of her life--but she worked her ass off through law school, and supported her family during a couple major crises--and she hated being treated like an object.
I felt bad for her, because she had a hard time meeting strong, intelligent men who liked her for more than her appearance. Some of the most beautiful women I have ever met are feminists...for that very reason. Equality means equality MEANS equality.
Q.
stinky,
you are right of course that a gerneralization based on ones personal expiriences is a dangerious thing (if the sample is not large enough ). nevertheless, the assumption that beautiful girls have a higher prevalence of getting into fields like show biz, modelling etc. respectively marry rich guys doesn'T seem very far fetched and fits UNFORTUNATELY my real life observations.
i would actually be relieved if i am mistaken on this! it would give back some trust in the human species!
