Actually met: Rick Springfield at the Louvre Museum in 1985. He was on concert tour. Still riding high from the General Hospital and "Jessie's Girl" fame. Now I think he's playing free concerts at festivals around the country. In another words - has been.
Actor Charles Durning - very nice man.

Rick Springfield was starring in a big show called EF/X in Vegas for a few years. Still goes on tour, puts on a great show. He is doing just fine.
Glad to hear that he's doing well. Probably my feelings stem from my initial and only meet up with him. Wasn't very nice, not rude but not amiable. I didn't ask for an autograph, just spoke briefly with him while hunting for the Mona Lisa.
I've interviewed and lunched with Francis Ford Coppola and Fess Parker; and met present and former mayors of NYC Rudy Giuliani, Ed Koch and Mike Bloomberg.
rode on a merry go round, next to Telly Savales and his children. He was in Seattle making a movie. I spoke to him, but he looked like "oh no, I hope she doesn't know who I am".
My main celebrity contact was with Mark Victor Hansen (I know I've written this before here). He is the co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books. I met him at seminars and conventions many times, when he was a member of the company I sell for. I had breakfast with him in Hawaii in 1995. He is the most positive and encouraging person to be around I've ever met.
Oh yes how could i forget!
I have stood next to the legendary Steve Bull (for non-brits, ex football player) in the gym showers, both of us completely stark naked.

I met Kenny Chesney, and the group The Wilkinsons, at a restaurant I used to hostess at. The Wilkinsons were extremely nice, and put myself and my bosses daughter on the VIP list for their concert that night. Backstage passes and everything.
Most, importantly, however, I met Tori Amos in December. I got to say "thank you" to the person who's music and words and activism helped save my life, and has made such a difference in so many more.

But most in the political field “very VAIN” – they feel like they’ve got the power, but nothing interesting is coming out of their mouths – After a while you feel like … Ok … I’ve got the picture … Better stay in my office with the door closed !
And most of the actors are quiet “SHY” because they don’t know if you like them or not.
